West Virginia vs Cincinnati - The Godfather Dontae Corleone vs the WVU rush offense.
Georgia vs Ole Miss - Georgia OL vs Ole Miss DL
Michigan vs Indiana - just cuz
Maryland vs Oregon - Maryland has a couple WRs (Felton, Prather) and a NT (Jordan Phillips) that will be fun vs the #1 team.
Alabama vs LSU - See the LSU DL vs Alabama OL
Clemson vs Virginia Tech - Aeneas Peebles vs Clemson OL

The blue and maize are gonna get it handed to them this weekend.

I'd love to see Michigan get beat down by Indiana, but I really think that this is going to be a close game. Michigan has a really solid defense, they just struggle to score points on offense.

Nebraska's D was top 10 and you see what they did to them.

This is not a high quality draft class and we don't even know who's NOT going to declare yet...

Princely was an absolute force. Him, James Pierce Jr and Kyle Kennard are my favorite Defensive ends so far. We desperately need someone who brings premier pass rushing ability.

I'm not high on the top esge prospects Scourton, Pearce, or Carter. They are good players but if the draft had more top talent they would likely be 18-32 ish instead of getting top 10 talk.

Bengals have a type: 6'3" to 6'5" and 260-275 lbs. Ossai used to be lighter, but he' bulked up 10 lbs. and arguably lost a step. I'm afraid we're going to end up with Sawyer or Tuimoloau despite not getting pressure.  Sacks+Pressures per pass rush snap is why I still like Pierce and think Overton >> Scourton, but also see a lot of value in Kennard, Rucker, Stewart, and Powell-Ryland.

James Pearce is someone they will likely consider in the teens. He is 6'5 245 but you can definitely see him adding 10lbs easily. He doesn't have much of a power profile but he is explosive, gumby movement skills, and can and will use his hands to win. He has like 6+ pressures in his last 6 games or something crazy like that. Gonna hear alotta Brian Burns comps for Pearce.

I'm liking the safety from South Carolina Nick Emmanwori 6'3 227 runs 4.38 and can play in the box, cover TE's and also play back in coverage. And he has SPEED and PHYSICALITY which we need both.

As you clearly saw on that 3rd play, #28 threw up the white flag and dove for the ankle tackle. That's field speak for "I don't want any more of that"...

The Bengals had that guy a few years back, his name was George Iloka, he hit like a sledgehammer.

This guy is more athletic and fluid; reminds me of Sean Taylor and Kenny Easly. Dude is probably going to be a top 15 pick come April.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

The guy could literally be the second coming of Ronnie Lott, and it would be a tough sell getting the Bengals to draft him, especially after whiffing on Dax Hill to play Safety on a 1st round pick.

Why though? Why don't they value the safety and why is the safety position undervalued by teams in general?

I don't know why Mike Brown has always favored spending on the perimeter positions over the core of the team. His father wasn't that way. Most folks I grew up with knew that you build your team from the inside out. Meaning strong center and guards on OL, and bad ass NT, MLB and Safety on defense. The teams that are better at blocking and tackling have a much higher chance of being successful over the long term than the team that focuses on big play makers and skimps on fundamental positions.
