What's interesting is the Chiefs are throwing with success at Roquan Smith's area of the field - Reid saw something he likes. I hope Pitcher sees it too.

Listening to the announcers slobber all over Lamar getting really lucky on a ball thrown up for grabs that the Chiefs DB should have picked but misplayed is annoying.

Good! Rats 0-1. I don't understand why the Chiefs defense just kept over pursuing Lamar. Mush rush and stay in your lanes - Jackson is not a touch passer so if you take his legs away he isn't a major threat. Really Lamar got LUCKY on his TD pass - it was up for grabs and the CB missed the easy INT.

Yep! Joe will cook in the air and Moss and Chase Brown will have field days running. I do think they'll have a lot of that shaken out by next weekend.

Lamar has been a top tier for 7 years.. not easy to defend him... he is just so dangerous with the ball

nope, those are the two top teams in the AFC that went toe to toe, if you think we have a cakewalk forget about it.. first lets not blow the 1st game, we have sucked opening game during Taylor and Burrow time

He actually isn't. Mush Rush and stay in your lanes which prevents him making run plays. Make him throw into smaller spots as in with touch - he has none so their whole offense stops.

I thought the Ravens were going to toast them. In shock at the oddball offense they ran.

Chiefs Defense did a great job considering week 1.

Chiefs speed from 2 guys looks nasty to deal with.

Couldn't stand the constant screens and checkdowns the Ravens employees most of the game. Lamar threw the ball 41 times & avg 6.7 per attempt. At half time, IIRC, he had 19 attempts and 5.5 per. I had to look because it felt like so much running.

Both teams looked good all things considered. Week 1 is always weird.

Chiefs offensive tackles do not look good at pass pro.  Reid is scared to call runs.  Ravens O has identity problems.  Likely was a hero but Jackson had some off passes.  Neither team looked like a bona-fide SB contender.  This may be the year to try to strike while the iron is hot.

chiefs cheated again with spagnola calling a timeout lol. chiefs speed is going to kill us. we need to see some chase brown to keep up, I don't trust Lou's defense against chiefs speed.

I didn't watch the whole game but from what I observed in the first half is concerning.

Xavier Worthy is everything and more of what we thought John Ross was going to be. Big difference in coaching.

Cracks me up to see Ratbirds complaining about the TD overturn. Lamar "I still think that's a TD."

Roquan Smith says "there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it."

It was close, but his toe was clearly out.

LOL, the NBC cameras had that zeroed in beyond a shadow of doubt. Maybe next time Balt
Good entertaining game.
Im pissed that KC keeps succeeding in restocking its weapons. Worthy looks like  another  homerun pick for them
Are we expecting Mike Hilton to be able to keep up with this guy?  And I Still cant believe Pacheco was a 7th rounder

Refs going to get some of that T-Swift cooking going for the Chiefs... but Lamar, shocker, can't complete passes to wide open players when it's time to be clutch.

When this post was written, y’all saw yourselves as rivals on an equal level with the Ravens and Chiefs. What a difference “any given Sunday” can make, eh? LOL
