"May not play" seems like extra commentary.

Zac said "We'll see".  So i bet he's questionable.

Chase is already gonna be limited in the game even if he plays, and we have no DTs. This ain't looking good lol

5 hamstring injuries in the last 5 football seasons for him. Now 6 in the last 6.

The littlest thing and he's gonna sit out. Even if he's really hurt at all. We all knew this was coming

For real? Suspect as hell. Trade his ass while he has value.

Yes for real. I have been saying this pretty consistently for 2 years now when the talk of extending Tee had started up and also early last offseason and early this offseason when I was pounding the trade drum.

2019 (in college)
2020
2021
2022
2023
and now 2024... a hamstring injury in every calendar year for 6 straight years. Not all of them were serious, but they happened and

Plus an ankle injury in 2018, 2021, and 2022.

Just not reliable enough to be counted on playing a full starters workload. The only time he's played at least 70% of the offensive snaps was 2020, and he's never played 75%, which is a shame because he is talented.

There probably being overly cautious about it and making sure he can last the whole season instead rushing him out there against the Patriots in week 1.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

And they nagged for most the year as well. He was basically limited or questionable every week...not idea if he was going to play or not.

I also think its important to remember Tee is in a contract year. I have my doubts on if he will push himself to play even if it is minor.

But I thought Tee wouldn't get muscle pulls and soft tissue injuries because he participated in TC practices.  At least, that's what I was led to believe in the Chase thread...

Call me stupid, he is making over 20 million dollars to play and wants a huge payday. How does missing games or not being productive get him that big pay day?

I think it proves Bengals were smart, they guy needs to prove he can play 17 games. Our receivers are compared to other like T. Hill, AJ Brown and other top receivers. They play more snaps than Tee.

Dependability is a huge reason NFL teams give record breaking contracts.

If he is faking an injury, he is hurting himself.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

But were they though? If he's been injured every year and you knew you weren't going to give him a big contract, why not get something huge for him? Is it possible they tried to deal him away but other teams noticed the injury history and decided to wait a year as well? Hard to tell. But I'm not calling this organization smart, and you can't make me.
