Higgins Hamstring again, may not play
(09-07-2024, 12:40 AM)Nicomo Cosca Wrote: Stone had the 2nd most interceptions in the league last season, and Clowney had 9.5 sacks. That’s a lot of production that walked out the door. Not to mention losing their DC.

So you're willing to bet on Baltimore's defense being suddenly shitty this year?  After one loss to the SB champs?  Go with it, then.

This is a cursed season for us before it even starts.  Awful Juju.  Accept it now or later.  Your choice.

Never had a worse feeling for this team.  Not even in the lost decade.

As the 1980's  philosopher Cynthia Lauper once said: "Money Changes Everything".

These turds want money, not rings.  We're about to get corn holed with extra turpentine this season.  Buckle up.

Cool.  Did they get an effective weapon late in round1?

Are you willing to bet that they don't embarrass us as our 2 best wrs mope next week?

Yes, I'm willing to bet that.

His deal will look just fine when a few more qbs become the highest paid of all time.

Then you're insane.  They'll house us in Arrowhead.  This team has zero heart and half it's firepower on the bench.

Tee Higgins might play 5 games this year. He's got his mind on money.

Business decision.

What do you want to bet, or are you scared?

Whatever you want.  I f the Bengals win I will legit leave this board forever.  No BS.  No Takebacks.  If you lose you do the same.

Lay it on the line.

The Bengals are about to play a season with both hand tied behind their backs.  Cannon fodder.

The Bengals, as much as I hate it, are not a serious team right now.

How about a sig bet? The "leaving the board forever" thing is dumb. What's stopping you from making an alt account

I don't care, dude.  This contract crap has done me in.  Ruined something I''ve loved for decades.  Leaving the board would be a mercy killing.  Trust me.  I won't be back.  I've never felt more negative about this team than right now.

I hope you win.

I'm saying it after 9 Sam Adams Oktoberfest

Tee is faking an injury over money and trying to get Chase paid.

He can sit by homeless Santa Claus guy at the foot of Clay Wade Bailey for all I care.

Never said they’d be shitty. Just that it’s not the same from last season. That was literally a historic defense.

In any interview I have seen, Higgins acts like the kind of guy you would want on your team.  I dont see him faking.  It would actually hurt his potential free agency next year if he misses a bunch of games.   He already has the reputation of being injury prone.  If he misses more games with hamstring issues this year, its going to cost him.

Kind of odd that he's smiling ear to ear like a Cheshire Cat and saying he feels better than ever while being doubtful.

This is malingering.  That ain't workin.  That''s the way you do it.  Money for nothing. chicks for free.

Fine, it's a bet. The winner choses what the losers has to have as a sig for a year. Obviously, nothing against ToS

I have way more confidence in a Baltimore defensive culture that's been 3 decades strong than a Cincinnati offensive culture of guys that have done nothing but talk about money and manufacture pretend injuries.

One stubbed toe and these two turds are done along with our season.  Money Money Money.  Nobody here other than Joe wants a Lombardi.

Perfect time to root for Yoshi, Sizzle, Burton, Irwin and all of the TE and RB. Our team has talent other than Chase and Tee they just need a chance to prove themselves.

I hope that you're right.  Not super confident.  Chase and Higgins have prioriies other than winning at this point.
