I blame the performance on Zac, Lou, the defense, and Joe Burrow.  These 4 lost the game.

No way you can leave out Hudson’s fumble on the goal line, and the muffed punt by Jones. Absolute game changers.

Sure I can, our offense with a healthy Burrow and Chase should be able to overcome 2 turnovers.

Our defense should be able to stop a team with a backup QB, new HC, new OC, and missing most of their oline with no receiving weapons.

If this was the Chiefs instead of the Patriots and we lost by the same score those turnovers would be disastrous, but it is not the same. I wish we only had the 2 fumbles to complain about.

If the Hudson and Jones fumbles don’t happen the Bengals could have very well scraped out an ugly win. It’s silly to leave them off a “reasons we lost” list, imo. Where you want to put them in the order of blame is up for debate.

For me the biggest reasons they lost were Burrow was way too sped up when he actually had time, the tackling was atrocious and they made Rhamondre Stevenson look like prime Barry Sanders, and the two turnovers.

Technically...sure, but bit players like Hudson and Jones are the least of our worries.  An ugly win would have been better but Im not sure I would feel anymore confident than I do today with the loss.

Confident against the Chiefs? Hell no. Feel better about a W in the win column? Absolutely. The Bills had a really ugly win yesterday against the Cardinals, but at the end of the day a win is a win.

Jones fumble was a helmet tackle directly on the ball not a whole lot you can do about that. Hudson's fumble was caused by holding the ball away from his body and not securing it this was after a few steps, so he had time.

Hudson is a QB converted into a TE he will never be a good TE IMO. He is taking reps from young TE talent as well.
