***Week 2 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Chiefs***

Me neither.  But that play should've been treated like a hail mary by the refs. No way they call that on a hail mary. Which you could pretty much call pass interference on ever hail mary.

That’s twice now against them where we beat ourselves.

The Burrow walk in TD he didn’t take.

The Burrow fumble.

The missed xp

The Gesicki drop.

We are the better team and I don’t give a **** what anyone says about it.

you're dreaming, we are not the better team. How many times do I have to remind  people they are 3-4 in SB wins in 6 years. What is Bengals record?

It was a bad choice to rush 3

Why would you call a play that hurts Trey H when he was wrecking shit?

No doubt.  But also not taking advantage of putting these guys away while on offense when it's right in front of us is also getting long in the tooth.

And yet, we'll probably turn around and look awful again next week.

I thought so

Trey Hendrickson must be completely beside himself....for the second straight week.

Coaches take blame when they lose, and give credit when they win. Except in Cincy, none of coaches take any blame at any point. None of their jobs are on the line.

Exactly. AFCCG... Burrow had the ball to win the game. Didn't we go 3 and out?

Today... the Chiefs did absolutely nothing after the CTB pick. Our offence fumbled for a TD and then almost drove themselves out of FG range.

We managed to lose 9-3 after the CTB pick... and the Chiefs literally did nothing with the ball from that point on. That's the reason we lost.

Wasted a hell of a performance from him. Would have been an easy game ball.

We had more yards, were better on 3rd down, +2 turnovers, and won ToP.

We just constantly stepped on our own dicks and the Chiefs didn't.

I don't want a headache; so I'll try not to think of the butt play calls, crap timeouts, and dropped passes.

If they “literally” did nothing with the ball, they wouldn’t have been in position to make the fg. I can’t stand the misuse of that word.

Yep.  Dumb penalties killed us.

We had this game won multiple times, Burrow getting sacked and having to punt and then getting them in 4th and 16.

Not being able to run from the 1.5 yard line 4 times, we aren't winning the super bowl sorry.

They didn't though did they. The penalty was the only thing that drove them anywhere down the field. But sure, be a pedant all you want.

Penalties and tackling.

These two things lost the game.

Problem is that the drop off in talent is from our top guy to our bottom guy is huge. There has to be at least 8-10 players minimum we have on the 53 man roster that wouldn’t be on another team’s practice squad. If that wasn’t enough Zac, has these guys spread out and a part of the gameplan.

If Zac got fired today he’d have a hard time getting anything more than a position coach job if lucky. They have several units that have underperformed for years and the people responsible still employed. This loss was on Zac, Lou, and the front office for skimping.

Marvin never woulda let a rookie out there.  He'd have him on the bench behind the most middling of vets.
