I thought to myself "Why didn't he at least try to make a play" Romo heard my thoughts and said "At that point, you have no choice but to spike it or you're going to get called for linemen downfield. I know many people dont like Romo but I like hearing the various technical parts of a play he discusses.

It is one aspect of the Peyton and Eli show that I really enjoy for MNF. I do like their humor, but they'll also share some QB play finer points when they geek out about a play a QB made on the field. It was really interesting a couple weeks ago when they talked about the little things Aaron Rodgers does during plays to have an awareness of what the opposing defense, refs, and coaches on the sideline are doing that influence his decision making. I was impressed at how much Rodgers is assessing everything around him during the actual plays. I'm assuming both Mannings did the same when they played. It made me wonder how Burrow compares since he QBs my favorite team.

Agree, was talking to a Bills fan that was at my house during the game. Romo is one of the few dudes who knows the game really well
and is able to relay it very well. Nothing like when he was a Cowboy and I disliked the guy which happens with Cowboys, Dallas Cowboys that is. |
