Well... it's finally happened.

IF Burrow doesn't fumble and we go down and kick a FG there, we win.

I remember playing intramural hockey in college and we would always groan when we had a certain ref.
This one ref (who also happened to be one of my professors) was always so ticky tacky and wouldn't just let the players play.

That's probably my most frustrating thing with some of these NFL calls.
Let the players play unless it's egregious.

It's so difficult as a defender to be looking at the ball and also simultaneously having to be aware to not come into contact with the offensive player too early.
But this is what the league wanted I guess. More offense.

I'd say it's as simple as if Burrow doesn't fumble and we simply punt... we win.

After the CTB pick, we lost the game 9-3. 6 points on the fumble return and traded FGs. But have a look at the drives after the CTB INT... our defence bottled up the Chiefs (outside of the PI call, that's the only play they moved the ball on). Simply put, we should have absolutely won the game with how the last third or so of it went... but the fumble return was an enormous game changer.

As for the topic... sorry my guy, but with all the crap Bengals fans have put up with over the years with officiating and our own inability to run a team... I'm refusing to believe this is the straw which broke the camel's back  Tongue

Did'nt Chase get held when he broke in the endzone on the 1st drive? It was pretty obvious yet no flag. I turned the game off. I watched earlier games on Redzone & the officiating is just terrible. I was yelling at every game because of the officiating. The government is going to have to get involved & ban legal betting on pro sports or it's going to get worse. Anyone see the spot on 3rd down in the Notre Dame game?
