True Slot WR… really missing Tyler Boyd.

WR Obsession around here.  HOw about not being DEAD Fn last in rush attempts?  Maybe try to wear down a defense so you can ice the game with running the ball?

If the Rams would let Brown go for a 6th round pick, that would be a small price to pay for a big man to clog the interior.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Any word if Bengals have any DT's in town to work out today?

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

This team is going to be a pass first team, as constructed. Our WR group currently doesn’t support that. Hopefully tee coming back can change things.

We have to run the ball to win a ring IMO. You have to play to the other team's weaknesses. We can't be run or pass first anything, at this point I think Joe better realize that.

I hope the plan is to sign a vet DT (Lawrence Guy), elevate Rogers from PS, activate Cedric Johnson and keep up with Hubbard sometimes inside as he looked pretty good there. Fortunately this only a couple of weeks to make it to getting Jackson back and Jenkins likely as well.

Yoshi is now under 50% catch rate, with burrow playing the best he ever has.

This WR room was an obvious red flag in the offseason, was obvious after games 1-3 and still obvious.

We don’t have a single wide receiver, outside of Chase and Higgins, that burrow/taylor trusts to get a tough 3-5 yards.

Yoshi is 100% NOT it. They need a WR2 in the worst way when Tee goes.

SO many needs this team has. I'd argue you could go either CB or WR in round 1. They desperately need both.

They will have to make some tough decisions on cuts this off-season as well. Moss, Cappa, Hubbard, Rankins, Stone are all on the chopping block for me.

That frees up roughly 36 MILLION (YES, THAT MUCH). Go out and get yourself a respectable guard, WR2, and RB2.

No one in the WR room is it, besides Chase. This offense needs, in addition to a WR2, an above average slot guy and a RB1.

We need DT, DE, CB, WR2, S, RB as the main needs.

But, we could use upgrades at TE, Guard, C, and maybe even LB.

So yeah...we need a new roster.

Next year
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

So was this the year to rely on him as a significant contributor? At this point, he will be just slightly less unproven than he was coming into this year. I’m not seeing much, if any, maturation from him.

If we are being honest with ourselves, he is a WR6/7 or more likely, practice squad worthy.
