Ok, let's go on the record about what we think is going to happen Monday night when the 0-2 Bengals host the 1-1 Commanders. Please post your predicted game score, too.

I think Daniels, Robinson, and Ekeler are gonna run all over us, but we get the win.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Keys to the game

Defense-

-Stop the run; Brian Robinson is averaging 6.0 yards a carry and Austin Ekler is a good back as well.

- Pass rush contain- Daniels can only beat you with his legs

-Keep them in 3rd and longs

Offense

Throw the ball early and often

Attack the edges in the running game

Higgins should be back and that should help the other Wrs. I would bunch up Chase and Higgins (on the same side)
and hit the defense with high low concepts.

Also use motion

Get Chase Brown more touches

Prediction
Bengals 34 Commanders 17

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

I don't think they'll be such an easy out.  I too am thinking it'll be within one score, and may well be decided by some 4th quarter heroics.

Bengals win and we express joy throughout the forum.

Let's also cheer on the Cowboys to a "W" over the Ravens to put them at 0-3.

And with Buffalo on their schedule the week after, there's a decent chance they roll in here 0-4, a desperate team.

Ah, cool Llama. We need to slow the Commanders running game down and we should beat them pretty handily now that the Offense
finally started clicking against a damn good Chiefs Defense. Really like the addition of Lawrence Guy even if he is 34, he is a proven run
stopper. We also could get Kris Jenkins back in this game and elevate Justin Rogers from the PS to help us out.

Bengals - 31
Washington - 13

For some reason I thought this was a road game, which is why I had us scraping by basically.

But since it is home, I'll change my prediction to 31-17 dropping the Comms down 3 points and upping us 4. Their run game will definitely be a threat and can eat up chunks of clock, but their passing game is a work in progress still. Their offense on the whole is getting yards but their defense is giving up a quite a bit of yards and lots of points so far.

If we struggle against the run again this week, the score will be closer than we'd like, but I think our offense will be able to move the ball well enough to outscore the Commanders and I think our defense will stymie Washington's passing attack enough that we'll win by 2 scores, but it'll probably "only" be a 10 point advantage.

Still it'll be the first win of the season en route to a 15-2 season and a Super Bowl victory. ThumbsUp

A very early must win, lose Monday we might want to start thinking a top 10 pick and replacement for Higgins.
