Watching them on TNF...
They're terrible.
They're terrible.
How the hell did the Bengals lose to the Patriots?

I think we play to the opposing team level and not to our potential.
We just try to keep the game close once we get close or a led, we then turn conservative on play calling. Which is why we hardly ever blow lesser teams away.

Who is responsible for teaching how to tackle to a professional NFL player?

The old adage of "how you practice is how you play" has an ounce of truth behind it. Soft, easy practices and too much of a laid back atmosphere left the team coming out flat and not prepared for live contact football.

We’re not a good team either.

You can’t tell anything from a Thursday night game. It’s too quick a turnaround and the product is always trash. Fans would be best served to watch these games for fun and then immediately scrub them from memory.
Doesn’t mean the Pats are good or bad, just that TNF is a trash product.

They overlooked them, weren't prepared, and played vanilla on offense to not put stuff on tape for the Chiefs (ZT would never admit this). Plus Burrow was/is still figuring stuff out.
I am not a "bash ZT guy", but the Bengals were not prepared for week 1 and that loss was inexcusable. The boys are just talkin' ball, babyyyy

People should have seen Rodgers and the S-H-I-T-S week one, they looked like crap then and much better last night as well. Hell, they looked like crap on Sunday against the Titans too.

Not with the coaches we have. Years ago I remember a player don't remember who said their practices were rough and grueling, something like that and made their games seem easy by comparison.

Patriots are a smart team who will not beat themselves + they had a week 1 high!

Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive. Sorry for Party Rocking! |
