The best offense in the league wouldve lost today.

Saints average 34.3 PPG and we gave up 38 to a rookie QB.

No team in the league wouldve won with how ass the defense was.

Why is Lou still employed? He hasnt been good since 2021.

if only there was a way to keep our defense off the field

We would have had to score a TD every possession, that's asking too much.

That was the first game in 70+ years (?) where neither team punted or turned the ball over.

At some point, WA basically never punted, didn't turn the ball over, and didn't have a penalty into the 4th. They would win the superbowl playing like yesterday.

Imagine a coach said you have 2 jobs and that's it, "no punts, no penalties".

WA didn't punt in the last 2 games, they're not bad, we're just not that good.

Kingsbury called a great game too. Everything they did worked.

1 incompletion from Daniels. 1. The entire game!

I agree with your post.  No offense could win the way the D played last night.

However I don't think Lou is the problem.  The announcers said due to injuries, he doesn't have much in players right now.  I'll add that the front office didn't keep a lot of those Super Bowl Defense players.  The good DT's and DB's for the most part are gone, and the replacements are not filling their shoes.  The D looks to be in the right places, but the talent level of these replacement players looks weak  I don't think out coached on D, but more of a lack of talent.  They still have the DE's and LB's, but not too hot at DT and DB.

The best offense in the league is whoever plays our defense. we will win a a few games due to turnovers even with a top 10 offense we will be lucky to win 5 games.

Yeah, Washington was scary good last night on Offense. I was blown away by Daniels, that dude is good.

Our Defense couldn't force a turnover and that is what it really came down to IMO. We made plays on D but couldn't stop
them on 3rd down when it mattered. Was just slow torture to Lou's Defense. I hope this was the wake up call our D needed.

I liked what I saw of our Offense last night, Burrow was great, Chase was great, Chase Brown was great etc.

Just not as good as the other team.

Actually, the best offense in the league for this past week actually won the game with a defense possibly even worse than Cinci. and that was Washington. What did their defense do better than the Bengals? Zero stops, gave up more yards in the passing game and running game.

A couple really bad Burrow passes deep in the redzone cost them several points, a missed FG and a bad non-call PI in the endzone was the BEST defense Washington had all night.

Shannon Sharpe blamed Burrow he said Burrow being a superstar QB should have known early on he needed to do more to win against Washington. I don't agree with the logic but I understood the point.

True, our Offense tore them up too, just not as much as theirs. Daniels was perfect last night or damn near.

Dude was in the zone, Burrow was damn good too but we had a few screw ups on Offense where we didn't score TD's and it cost us.

However that coach had a great D at Dallas, and now the Dallas D is awful without him, as he looks like a Bill Cowher type as new Washington head coach.  Give this guy some time, and I bet he builds the type D he had at Dallas last few years. Might need some drafts, but he is a good, young coach.

SS is a complete moron, imo. Not sure how many more hats Burrow should have worn as in also rushing the passer, defending WR's and kicking FG's. The D lost this game to the point that Burrow, or any other offensive player, unfortunately, simply could not make a mistake because they couldn't make up for with this HS defense and could not depend on getting the ball back.

They didn't show Burrow once rubbing his wrist that game, did they? The camera work for these NFL games is interesting. Like who controls the cameras, seems like they're controlling the movie lol
