I have enough money to buy a lifetime supply of wax lips today, doesn't mean I'm gonna do it.

Who do you think can make this defense not play lack a bunch of Nancy's? We got player's getting stiff armed by Lamar Jackson, of all people. Defensive players are pretty bad. Can't shine dog poop.

I was at the game today and I have never seen the defense so inept. Nobody in the secondary was in the right position, ever. Scoring 38 points and losing is unforgivable.

Good coach. No doubt in my mind about that. Can give you half a dozen others who I would cheer if they were hired. Now, what would make any of them rush to work here? Talent, I think, is not coachable enough to be even mediocre. Organization has a reputation ( earned or not ) of being an issue.

LOL, that is totally different conversation, of which I have zero confidence, as would any potential DC candidate.

Not that he'd take the position no matter how much money we'd throw at him because he wants to be a HC and probably will be, BUT Bill Belichick could easily scheme our defense into a decent unit.

Didn't work out very well because the rest of the team crapped the bed. As to VB he played exceptionally, especially in the playoffs.

WTS, the question posed was "who could stop them from playing soft" The last thing I think about when remembering VB's play is soft.

Last 3 years just on defense they spent...
2 1st Rounders
3 2nd Rounders
3 3rd Rounders

It's not like they've been neglecting defense. You'd be hard pressed to find a team that spent more day 1 and day 2 draft picks on defense the last 3 years and because of how the Bengals work, the DC gets a lot of input into who get drafted. Plus in those 3 years they paid Hendrickson, Hill, Rankins, Wilson, and Pratt. All presumably because Lou wanted them. Then they re-signed Bell and signed Stone because Lou said he couldn't make do with young guys. They have put a LOT into the defense. It's just not good.

Yep, get his ass outta here.

HUGE problem with this organization, I agree.

....and after he fumbled the snap, and then couldn't get a good grasp of it after the initial fumble on top of the stiff arm! He throws a ***** tuddy! I was livid after that play.

How is this acceptable results. Any defense at all and we probably would have won 2 Super-bowls by now.

people bring up the regular season stats, but nobody can deny that he steps it up and becomes brilliant in the postseason. AKA when it matters most
