CTB

So bad i gotta convince myself he’s hurt to stay sane

Edit: Jake from Locked on Bengals said injury may be a factor

When your pff is 57 from your supposedly best CB you got problems. And i know some may disagree but Bell has no business starting over Battle either.

FYI Dax Hill is 70 and DJ Turner is 77.8.

Turner definitely looked like the best CB against Carolina.

Didn't CTB have a fantastic INT that was negated by a penalty?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

To be completely honest, our power was out so I couldn't actually see the game, I had to listen on satellite radio in my truck. It was the home team radio crew doing the broadcast.

Much better player than what he's showed the last couple of weeks. Need to get it figured out.

It was a great int, but they called holding on him before the INT. If he didn't INT, it would have been a TD. He got burnt so many plays that game, WR was 2-5 yards clear many times, even on panther penalties.

We are playing far less two high safety looks because our DL and run defense is terrible right now.

It's leaving our CBs on an island and they are getting exposed.

He was awful today all around, though. He was biting on double moves, missed jams at the line, giving recievers free releases. It seemed like he was always 2-3 steps behind his reciever.

Hopefully it’s not a trend he’s one of the few draft picks we’ve hit on that’s supposed to help restock the talent this team has lost and was next in line for a big extension. If we missed on him we’re in big trouble on D.

Seems to me that the Panthers made him a part of their gameplan specifically.  Was really tough to watch.  Every time they burned him, the camera went to Dalton and that he always had that stupid smile on his face.

To be fair, Dalton still had that same smile every time he threw an incompletion as well.  God, how I don't miss that shit anymore.  It's like, "What the hell is so goddamned funny?!?!"Pissed

I still believe CTB is a solid CB. He just got a little to full of himself thinking he was "da bomb".

Hopefully, as has been said, some humble pie he's had recently will bring him back down to earth.

Yeah...but the penalty was on him, so you can't really give him credit for the play.

Hopefully. He was good last year, but it really seems like bought into his own hype this year.

Like I said earlier, we had no power from the hurricane, and I had to listen on satellite radio in the truck. I've noticed from video clips posted on here today that the Panthers radio network broadcast team did a rather mediocre descriptive of what was happening on the field.
