That type of production is exceedingly rare but Baltimore is a bad matchup for Cincinnati, especially with Hendrickson potentially missing the game. They are very physical up front with a dominating RB and two dangerous TEs. And, of course, their defense.

Bills are more banged up than we are and thats saying something.

Ravens last in the league on run defence.

Some of you are so quick to write us off.

Let's see who exactly we have on defense first.

Joe is going to have to mind himself next week, these lot are a set of dirty bastards who would rather hurt someone than make a play.

Worse than the Steelers.

You think? I hung around in the Game Day thread today until it was 0 to 0. By then we were the worst team in the NFL and were getting blown out.

IDK if you ever listened to the Bart Scott interview about "Red Dot" games

I mean Chuba Hubbard Robinson Stephenson Pacheco before he got hurt Daniels ran Brissett scrambled Mahomes got ground yards Even Dalton ran a little. We are playing the A - plus gold standard. We might be able to force Lamar into a couple mistakes don't see Ravens punting more than once.

1. It’s a divisional game
2. Bills are worse than their record.
3. You’re probably right.

Apparently Bill's Mafia is furious at a couple of cheap shots taken at Josh Allen by the Raven's defense, including one where his helmet was ripped off and then Raquan Smith charged at the dogpile with the helmetless Allen, and another unnecessary nasty hit from a D-lineman. As one commentator said, "If that were Mahomes, the Raven's defender would have been led off in handcuffs."

Perhaps that could work out to be a positive for the Bengals? I mean the league reviews all games and issues fines and penalties for plays not even flagged by game officials. If the commissioner issues a few fines, perhaps it will put added pressure on the officiating crew of the Ravens/Bengals game to watch out for that sort of thing?

Nah, divisional game and we've played them pretty well in the Joe Burrow era. We may have been on course to win in Baltimore last year if not for the injury.

I'm not confident we'll win this game, but I'd be surprised if it's a blowout.

I firmly believe we're still going to make the playoffs and I don't see us beating Baltimore at all this year. And after watching the highlights from the Bills-Ravens game, I'm even more confident that we aren't beating Baltimore this week.

That said, I'm hopeful with some guys coming back from injury that the defense will improve, but this will probably be the biggest test for our offense as Batl's defense is much better than Washington's and Carolina's. I can see a way for us to beat Baltimore but it means the offense scoring TDs on every possession and the defense actually getting stops/TOs or holding the Ravens to FGs. If we can build a 3 score lead and make Baltimore rely on Lamar's passing, we could pull off the upset. As for now, I'm hoping for a win but I'm expecting a loss.

lamar is 8-2 against the bengals. we need some magic, the offense has it, it's the defense we will always be worried about this year.

And that record reflects the 2021+2022 Bengals having a decent D

Bengals have 5 more games before the NFL Trade Deadline.
BAL
@NYG
@CLE
PHI
LV

Bengals are still allowing a ton of production on the ground.
They've allowed 140+ yards in every game except WAS this year. They allowed 108 rush yards against them.
They haven't allowed 250+ yards in the pass game any game.

As such, I think the Bengals D will struggle against BAL, PHI, and CLE.
CLE hasn't been as good on the ground this year so far with Chubb out, but he's returning to practice and should be back by the time they play the Bengals.

I'll conservatively predict 2-3 over these next 5 games with wins against NYG and LV. CLE is probably my closest toss-up game, as their offense as whole doesn't look good...at least without Chubb. I think 3-2 optimistically.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
