I'm not sure what is going on with Rankins. He has not practiced in 3 weeks now, so you're right that they should have put him on IR, as he'd have been eligible to return in week 7 if they had anyway. That would have allowed them to activate Henry. The question would still be would they activate him, even if he was on the roster? They had 4 active DEs that the Bengals obviously value higher than Henry, so he may have not gotten snaps regardless.

Henry was great depth at a position of need....we need PASS RUSHERS and more than just Trey and Murphy nobody besides Trey is getting pressure so let's just PS a guy who can rush the passer.....it was an absolute idiotic move to put him on the PS.
