I dont know but if Rankins was put on the IR like he should have been, we would be down to 4 for the rest of the season.  Im guessing this is why they didnt IR Rankins when he is going to miss 4 weeks.  They dont want to be limited to just 4 more returns the rest of the season.  Instead they will have Rankins inactive for several weeks.

I could see Robbins being cut outright after Murphy and McKinley are brought back. I don't see anyone snagging him up quickly. If something happens to Rehkow, we should be able to bring him back.
You can always trust an dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to look out for.

I hope he enjoyed his 24 hours on the 53 man roster

As predicted. They had to bring him back off because of his designation; then waived him to clear the spot.

Yeah, what Llama said. We waived Christopher Robbins anyway just heard. Good, I think Uncle Rehkow could be our guy. Smirk

Rehkow is getting us 9.6 more NET yards per punt than Robbins did last year. That's insane to think how our defense could somehow be worse if opposing teams were getting nearly 10 free yards every time we punt.

He had to be waived to go on the PS.

Yes, Bengals and teams miss about 80% of the time on 6th round picks playing through their rookie contracts.

The good news is they fixed the issue and found a great replacement 31 other teams did not see as an NFL starting punter. The knife cuts both ways for those upset with the Robbins draft pick in round 6.

We have a PS sot open since Cowboys grabbed our DE.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

I think it is interesting that KC waived him to sign "The Punt God".. I hope the "Punt God" enjoys being the 2nd best punter.... LMAO
