***Week 5 GameDay Thread - Ravens @ Bengals***

Sounds about right. Zac’s patented prevent offense. Burrow is having the gave of his life and Zac takes the ball out of his hands and plays for a 50 yard kick. **** these coaches. If someone isn’t fired, I’m done. Been a fan of this shit for 50 years. I knew we would find a way to **** it up. Unreal.

Oh I forgot that he also iced his own kicker!
Couldn’t even win a game the Ravens tried to give them

Their guy kicks a 56 yarder. Our guy misses a 53 yarder.

Just curling up and putting the game on a Rehkow hold is insane. You cant put Rehkow in that situation unless you have to and he didnt have to. We couldve went deep, still ran it, then maybe been 3rd and 2 with a chance to win

They should have just attempted the FG on third down if they weren't going to attempt to get more yards.  All the holder would have had to do was fall on it and try again.  Simple, basic, common sense football

We need a new coach. I aint never seen a set of coaches lose a game for their QB. Your QB made 1 ***** mistake and you just cant do SHIT as coaches? Cant scheme up a deep ball, cant coach a timely screen that gets an important 1st, NOTHING?

And I bet Burrow was calling his own plays late. Id put money those plays were all Burrow

I am wondering about this a bit if he has been stripped of his ability to audible out of stuff by someone either the OC or Zac. I feel like he has been checking out of plays a lot less this season.

Why did Zac call a timeout before that final kick?

Those aged, seasoned fans like you and I know how things, 95% of the time, end up with the bungles.

Don't kid yourself.  All this family cares about is lining their pockets with tv and season ticket holder money and skiing in the Italian Alps.  **** them.

To be fair to Evan it was an absolutely horrendous, snap and hold. What can you expect though when you put that pressure on the entire team unnecessarily At 50+ yard field goal range no less. Hell, they only got about 5 yards total out of those three downs and would’ve still been in Evans range even with three incomplete passes

To ice the kicker.. oh wait it was our own kicker wasn’t it?

While I watching them stack the box for all three downs I was screaming at the TV to throw it deep to anyone.

It was right there.

I'd rather a grizzly bear were on the job.

The difference between winning the close ones and winning the close ones, is coaching. And we don’t have it.

Just look at the Reds coaching, same thing.

I dont think yall realize how ***** Zac just got in the clutch

Failure to go all around.

- Defense absolute ass the whole 2nd half couldn't stop a runny nose.
- Coach = 3 straight runs up the gut in OT to play for a long FG and then call a dang timeout effectively icing your own kicker and holder (WTH ??)
- Burrow, yes he overall had a fantastic game. **But:
Less than 2 min to go with the ball to go down and ice/win a game, he failed miserably throwing an inexcusable pick deep.in their territory when they had no timeouts. That is about anti-clutch as you can get.

Burrow is paid the massive amounts to win games in the end at the clutch. Failure.

It's as much on him not taking this game for a win as it is the awful defense and boneheaded coach.

Yep - bleeping away this game was a total team effort. Just terrible all around and just like that the season is over. Oh well - they don’t seem to care so why should we?

When will they start calling plays like every game is a playoff game, because it is.

Yes he’s saying they should have just tried the FG on 3rd down in case of bad snap or hold like they had.

There has to be better cover DB’s sitting at home then who we have on our team. Because they can’t cover anyone, and then can’t tackle.
