Season is over.

Crazy that the season is pretty much over in early October. The Bengals defense is historically bad. They have given up a whopping 145 points in 5 weeks. Doesn't matter how good the offense is, when the defense can't stop a cold.

Seasons been over. Folks around here just missed the signs.

Remember we had to come out of September with a winning record with this “easy schedule”. Once it was clear we wouldn’t the season ended then.

Hate to say it, but I saw this coming in preseason. I got ripped for it, because I was a downer. But I told you so.

Yep season is over and thats why this one hurts so bad. To Bungle the game away in the fashion they did and for ZT/Burrow to go 3 straight runs in OT is unforgiveable.

To me it felt like the season was over in week 1 seeing the atrocious run D but this just seals it.

Typical ZT always plays it safe in spots when the game is on the line, Should have got a couple first downs and then kicked it,,,,,we need new Safety's as well....when Mark Andrews who is slow is pulling away from Bell you know you have problems. Like I said last week Bell should NOT be starting in this league anymore.

Yea when Bell was crap on Carolina we thought it was a coaching or organization issue. Unfortunately he is just old and should be used sparingly as a back up.

Another reason why Lou should be canned because they cannot scout new or existing talent.

Bell and Stone, and even Battle, make up the slowest safety room in the NFL.  I'm not sure it is even close.  Bell has lost several steps and Stone has NEVER been a good tackler.

As Bad as Defense played they got a safety forced a couple punts and hand the team the game on a silver platter in OT. Our Head coach not trusting our half a billion dollar QB to complete 1 more pass lost us the game.

The safety was never happening without an incredible punt (and good play from the special teams to down it), and a whiffed block by the Ravens on the play. Still, I'll credit Hubbard for making the play nonetheless, but it was far from 'all about the defence' there.

The play in OT was again a Ravens error... I'll credit our guys for getting to the ball first, but it's not like we caused that fumble in any way. Total mess by Lamar on that one really.

Not disputing the appalling choice of plays on our 'drive' however.

They gave up 40+.... getting a safety is typically flukey. Are we supposed to get excited about a couple punts?

Defense sucked plain and simple.. yes we can make excuses in other areas of the game but if you give up 40 your supposed to lose.

Yep. You need ball hawks at safety. We draft mainly run stuffers.

Bell is an in the box safety. He's not a coverage guy.

Which is funny since we can't stop the run either.

Do we blow the team up right now or wait until the end of the season?

They won't make trades. Maybe 1 guy.

In the nba or mlb or nhl, they'd trade a bunch of guys.

The Bengals still are thinking playoffs. Delusional.

Playoffs? We’re going to have the first overall pick in the draft. Again.

You know what Mike Brown is saying now?

"Lou needs an extension...he's doing some good things"

Somewhere an 89-year-old Jim Mora laughs in our general direction.

I guess we need to get the best defensive player in the draft.
