Cody Ford

One bright spot, when Mims went down I thought it was over for Burrow. Cody held the right side of the line pretty darn well.

Look for sunshine where you can find it. With Brown out, Ford is always one snap away from being starting RT

I would agree. Feared for the worst and that Ford coming in would collapse the offence at the point. While he wasn't in for ages, the offence didn't skip a beat when Mims went out.

Conversely, it isn't a bright spot Ford had to play since our first rounder has missed significant time this year with injury.

there were more bright spots than that ...but yeah - i was in the same place when he checked in. Though Burrow would be running for his life but he held up.

Still do not trust him enough for a longer spell but with Mims going back in hopefully he stays as a back up

I thought Ford looked average, he was getting beat and we had help for him. I think he got beat on a spin move on the first play he was in. I thought Burrow got pressured more once he came in, I could be wrong and we can check PFF later.

The VERY first play, Ford's feet looked SO DAMN SLOW, but Burrow got the ball out in time. After that, didn't notice anything egregious with him.

I wouldn't say significant time: he really only missed one game and 10 snaps.

Yeah, he hasn't become some stud OL or anything lol. But he's usually a turnstile. He did just fine and I can't say I noticed Burrow under an increased amount of pressure during that part of the game. I'm very glad Mims came back in though.

Fair enough on the meaning of the word significant. I was mistakenly thinking about him as out for all games when Brown played.
