Everyone Talks about Lou and Zac but this guy continues to get a free pass. It seems to me that the special teams is making way to many mistakes and has arguably cost us two games this season.

It’s the defense. It’s so painfully obvious it’s the defense.

If there is blame on the season

Defense - 80%
Taylor - 10%
Injuries - 9%
Everything else - 1%

The bulk of the blame is the front office, they did nothing to make the defense better. It's tough to lose people like Bates, and to do such a terrible job in the draft. Some of the picks they make are mind blowing. History proves it 50 plus years they drafted 1 HOF player. That is so terrible. The thing is after the rookie contract good players want to get away from Mr Brown. People believe he is cheep and doesn't care about his players. He is by far the worst owner in all of professional sports, and as long as he and his family are running this team they will do nothing but lose.

Until the last FG attempt, special teams was terrific today. Two tremendous punts, including one fantastic punt and coverage that ultimately ended up resulting in a safety. A surprising kickoff that bounced off the receiver and out of bounds deep in Raven's territory. The blown FG attempt was painful, and there was one mediocre to poor punt that had a 11-yard return, but those two cases don't wipe out the entire body of work of the special teams today. Of 5 punts, 4 ended up inside the 20 and one was 66 yards. And the coverage of the punts was excellent. Only 1 of 5 punts was even returned.

The defensive issues aren't scheme. The line is bad
This hurts LB play. And the safeties are slow and bad. And our CBs are young and not that good
CTB shouldn't be a #1 CB.

Yeah, the Defense is the main issue but that doesn't take away from shitty Special Teams.

In what regard exactly? The extra point? That falls on Zac, settling for a 50+ yard FG. Gotta take the good with the bad with new, young, guys and our punter has been excellent. That’s a huge pressure situation for the entire unit, not just Evan.

Put Robbins in there, maybe the game doesn’t play out the same (field position) from the get go. Just my opinion.

You all are missing the main thing: bad teams find ways to lose.

This game it was a snap. Against KC a penalty. Against NE, the offense was flat. Against Wash, it was the defense.

50 yard field goals are being made at a 90% clip around the NFL. If you miss one that's bad; especially in a clutch situation.
