Jets Fired Saleh Get Him For DC

What is everyone's thoughts on getting rid of Lou either now or end of season and bringing in Saleh to be DC?

In an ideal world they at least consider bringing him in as a consultant. I rarely if ever see an outside hire brought in to replace an in season firing. In season.

I don’t know what kind of personal relationship they have. He’ll likely end up back with the Niners.

Teams don't fire coordinators mid-season and replace them with external hires. They put an assistant in that position.

If anything you can bring him in as an Defensive Consultant for the rest of the year....   But 100% agree you wouldnt hand over the defense to an external hire mid season.

Not mid season, if Lou continues to suck and we don't make the Playoffs, sure I am down for Saleh at DC. He is a good one.
