Patriots C Ben Brown
#1
The Patriots signed former Bengal Ben Brown off the Raider's PS. He started at center 4 days later. Coach Jared Mayo declared Brown the best offensive lineman they had and today released the previous starter Nick Leverett.

Brown was with the Bengals in 2022 and 2023 camp. In 2022, he tore his bicep ending his season before it started. IN 2023, he showed a lot of promise but was a final cutdown day release. He was then signed to the Seahawks practice squad and moved onto the Raiders this season.

I wish him luck.., time will tell if Sunday was beginner's luck or will become another Bengal lament about the one who got away

Winning makes believers of us all

Pass Grade: C Ben Brown - 72.3
Run Grade: C Ben Brown - 48.7

He was in neither their top-5 or their bottom-5 so I didn't see an overall grade. Old "friend" Michael Jordan was in their bottom-5, though.

Overall: G Michael Jordan - 43.3
Pass Grade: G Michael Jordan - 44.4
Run Grade: G Michael Jordan - 43.1

I was a Ben Brown fan after his first pre-season game in Cincy... he just tore his bicep before the second. In year two the Bengals decided to go with Max Scharping (bla) and the versatility of Trey Hill at G/C for thr practice squad.

Was always hoping Ben Brown would of shined for us, oh well, I like Ted myself and Lee for the future. Think we are okay at Center for once.
