Bengals @ Browns predictions
#1
Well with the 0-3 start we dug a big hole, duh. And our margin for error now is thin, very thin. IMHO we need to go a minimum of 9-2 over the last 11 to have a shot at playoffs and really 10-1 wouldn't hurt. Sucks

Deshaun Watson has been hot garbage all season they're only averaging like 15 points a game. Watson has yet to throw for 200 yards in a game and his completion % is just a tick over 60. And their defense hasn't been what it was either.

If we can keep from getting gashed on the ground and keep JB upright I like our chances.

Bengals - 27

Browns - 16

The Browns somehow managed to reach a new low this season and if we don't beat them soundly we are a sad-ass team, indeed.

I'm gonna say Watson has a career game while Chubb goes for 140 on the ground. Our D comes back to reality while our O turns the ball over 5 times. At the end of the day we somehow only lose by 3 when it should've been 30.

Or it could be the total opposite & we win by 3 when we should've won by 30.

We should win yet somehow we always manage to nose dive against the Browns lately and they look like Super Bowl Champs against us. Add to that Chubb returning who always runs it down our throats.

Win/Lose depends on which Bengals team shows up on offense and defense. And right now its a Jekyll and Hyde act from one game to the next so who knows?

Yup

Lose this one to a team that's just well, bad and our season is on life support. The fat lady will be walking towards the mic.

I live in northern Ohio, so I hear a lot of Clowns news on TV. Chubb will be back this week, on a limited snap count. On paper, this should be an "easy" game, but so was the Pats game. I am always leery when I hear how bad other teams are doing by their stats (Clowns are 0 for 26 on 3rd down conversions, Clowns have not scored 20 points in a game yet this season, Deshaun Watson is dead last qb rating) because for some reason we can not beat these guys. Until we do, i have to say Poop stains 31 Good guys 28. Last second FG loss again. Hopefully wrong here...but we will see.

I think the Giants exposed an area of weakness for this offense (OL's issue with picking up stunts).

The Browns front (especially Garrett) could give our OL fits. We've seen it all before. To me, this game comes down entirely to that. Can this offense rebound and fix some OL issues that were exposed. In a way, playing the Giants a week before the Browns could be a blessing. I think the defense will hold their own.

23-20 Bengals

Chubb 125 years (only b/c he is limited)
Garrett 4 sacks
Watson has his best game of the season (in traditional Bungle fashion)
Cooper embarrasses CTB
Stains 34-17

Never a good matchup with them. Elite DE(s) along with an elite RB regardless if it's his first game back)/mobile QB always hurt them.

Won't be happening now....Cooper was traded to Buffalo. Meanwhile, the Bengals stand pat.  LMAO

Yep and that's after the Bills actually won the game. They're trying to get better.

Just a 3rd rounder for Davonte Adams and a 3rd rounder (and 7th) for Cooper. Those seem like basically steals.

Edit: And the Bills get a 6th round pick back, so less than a 3rd rounder for Cooper.

If the defense builds off of last week and the offense gets in sync faster we should win. Let's say the offense closes it out and we beat the Stains by 3 24-21.

Browns not scored over 18 points in a game this season.   Glad Chubb has not had a couple of games under his belt.

I'm going to go 24 -20 Bengals .... and pray Pollack has a plan to stop Garrett taking over the game
