Terrace Marshall Jr

Released by the 49ers today. He's still just in his age 24 season and maybe Burrow can re-tap into what made him a 2nd round pick. I am also just done with Charlie Jones.

Sure, why not? Can he also return punts?

I always saw him eventually becoming a bengal. He wont replace Tee, but I would approve this signing. Im sure Burrow and Chase would too

He is LSU Alumni. I could see this happening as long as he didn't want big money.

According to his lifetime stats, he's do for a vet minimum "prove it" type of deal.

I wanted the team to trade for him 2 years ago. Can't hurt.

He's only been in the league a couple of years and his next team would be his 3rd team?

Admittedly he hasn't shown much, but he ended up in two bad situations. Carolina is a dumpster fire, and there are too many mouths to feed in SF.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Thanks for answering my question. I thought he was drafted by Carolina but wasn't sure.
Maybe he is a guy we can put on the PS.

Yes, bring in Terrace for sure. I don't like what I have seen from Charlie Jones this season and Burrow has chemistry with this guy
already and has good size and speed still I am pretty sure. Still like Jermaine Burton even if the coaches have him in their dog house
but nothing wrong with adding Terrace Marshall. The WR's besides Chase, Higgins and Yoshi have disappointed this season.

It's his 4th season in the league, I agree that there just wasn't room for him in SF. My question is that with some imagining him as a replacement for Charlie Jones, does Marshall have any notable PR experience? (I didn't see any return stats on his PFR line)

I'm still holding out hope for Burton, but after him we don't have anybody moving the needle much. Bring him in

I haven't given up on Jones yet. Marvin said long ago that most WRs take 3 years to develop, and Jones has a hard time getting on the field with the WR's in front of him.

That’s the sad part. It’s not like we have a bonafide 3 that should keep him on the bench. Everyone behind Chase and Higgins is unproven. I would take Marshall over Irwin in a NY minute.

I'd sign him to the PS and see if reuniting with Burrow and Chase can set him on the right path, but that's as far as I'd go.

It's definitely way too early to give up on Jones. Ts, he's gotta learn how to plant his foot and go North or South instead of continuously meandering East and West. Too much side to side running. He isn't at Purdue anymore. Everyone is fast at this level.

he was the 5 star LSU recruit from that 2019 championship team. Chase was a 4 star, Jefferson was a 3 star.

I always found that fascinating.

He was on the 49ers practice squad. I would definitely bring him on to our practice squad. That's a no brainer.

Without looking it up, has anyone heard of Jacob Cowing or Ronnie Bell?

If not, then I ask that you consider that Charlie Jones is in the same situation as them - backing up two star starters.

They're both also incapable of running any direction but sideways? Didn't realize it was such an epidemic.
