Anyone else nervous about the Browns?
#21
It will be tough game because it is in Cleveland and their defense has controlled us for most of the games and it is still very good and last week was really the best dline we have faced this year and offense struggled . Now the positive, Browns offense is not strong, Chubb will be limited in carries and our Dline is healthy and playing better..

New free column: It's time for the Browns to give up on Deshaun Watson, who is off to the worst start in modern league history.

Since 2007, out of 566 passers through six weeks, Watson ranks:

QBR: 558th
Yds/Dropback: 565th
First Down Rate: 566th
Against the Eagles last week at the 2minute mark before halftime, Watson was 4-12 for 54 yds...

Seriously, morale is going to be way low for the Browns this week, if this team can't step on the throat this week? Then I don't know what to say about the future of Zac Taylor.

You’ve been a Bengals fan way too long buddy to know that a loss this Sunday won’t change a thing with Mike Brown. When it comes to coaches he is the most loyal guy holding onto them even though 31 other teams would’ve showed them the door much earlier.

is Chubb playing?  (my fantasy team needs this)

Not to worry, I'm sure they'll be 50% on 3rd against us.

Cleveland has some really good players on defense but not enough this year. They are around 16 in a lot of defensive categories
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

I feel a bit more nervous after that Giants game, because I think the Browns can get to Burrow like how the Giants did. Their offense might get a boost with Chubb coming back as well. Our defense looked way better vs the Giants, but I'm still worried about our DL vs Chubb (if he's back). Watson has looked really bad, so hopefully he continues to look bad against us. I think we win the game, but the way we played against the Giants makes me way more nervous about this game.

Eh, a little bit. Not as much as in the past though. Like you say I still think we win but the Browns have had our number. Burrow was off
against the Giants a bit but that can happen with that DL and the Browns have another good one. The RB's need to be secure with the
ball and Burrow needs to have a bounce back game on Offense.

On Defense just don't let that running game beat us, with Chubb it is a tall order even if he is on a limited snap count or doesn't play.

Having our DL healthy should really help. This has clearly been the biggest problem for us in stopping the run and don't let the explosive
plays hurt us in the Secondary has to be important areas to address in this game.

Burrow has never beaten Cleveland

It comes down to who can impose their will on the other team. It is our offense versus their defense.
I think our defense and their offense are evenly matched for ineptitude. So it all comes down to whether the Browns can stop our offense.
Expect another 20-17 game. Could go either way, Depending on turnovers.

Burrow has beaten the Browns (Dec 2022 in Cincy). Game had that nifty flea flicker play that went to T. Irwin. Can't remember the score exactly but I think the Bengals controlled the game handily that day.

Burrow has never beaten Cleveland in Cleveland.

Chubb and Njoku could be a real headache here. Defense needs to be strong.

Offense is all about trenches this game for me. Holding up stout against their pass rush and no false starts or stupid penalties.
If the protection is there I think Cincy should take it.

We'll see though. Tough matchup for Cincy. Stupid Browns

Of course. There is no team in the league we should not fear.

Why would you not be worried about any game with this group?

Bad matchup against the Bengals in the past but this year, the OL is doing a better job. Browns gave away Cooper. I feel better about this game than I have in past seasons.

Now Watson probably won't throw for 348 and 4 TDs like Lamar did, but even still if we have to sell out to stop Chubb from being a factor like we did Henry, it's a pyrrhic victory.

I'd honestly be shocked if Chubb had over 10 carries in this game period. They're 1-5, and he's returning from a horrible injury.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

If Chase played the whole game, Brandon Allen would've had 250+ yards and 3 TDs. That was a reverse of our final game last year, only we kept it close and outplayed at times, whereas last year we just outright stomped them.

Miles Garrett is the only one that makes me nervous. If he has a monster day and their offense can somehow move the ball, then yeah, any given Sunday.

Yeah, but I think it was Sled that said Garrett is dealing with some undisclosed injury and he wouldn't even trade for him now.

Because yeah, if he is 100% Myles Garrett always makes me nervous just like Nick Chubb.

Thanks for clarity Bengal Billy, I swear these new negative nancy trolls just ignore history and make up their own.

I agree as well, always tough with the stupid stains.

I think it was listed as his Achilles if I remember.  Kind of important for any lineman.
