Anyone else nervous about the Browns?

Yuppp. Feel the same and Chubb playing should help his confidence and the O overall.

Should be a dawg fight (see what I did there?).

1) the team is spending money on players  and a bunch of other things  related to player performance   and that has translated into wins the past 3 years2) community interaction and involve, ment is 100% better than it used to be...get current

Jessie Bates?
Tee Higgins?
Jamaar Chase?
DJ Reader?

And community interactions results in more wins? Yeah ok..... Smirk

Lord, yes.

Their rushing offense usually shreds us and our D has been mostly awful this year.

And their D usually dominates our O and we just let the Giants D dominate us.

I'd bet on the Browns if I had to make a bet.

They always give us problems and their offense, specifically the run game, worries me but, with how well Hill and the rest of the front seven has looked, I feel pretty confident because I feel like we'll go in with energy and just put points on the board and not let them control the game.

You do know Cleveland's OL is rank 29th in pass pro and rushing? That was with all their starters.

Conklin has made 1 start this year.
Wills Jr had made 3 starts this year (and got hurt halfway through one).
Pocic has made 5 starts, but has been hurt his last 2 (missing time) before missing last week entirely.
Teller has made 3 starts, getting hurt in the 3rd one and is on the IR now.

Their LG Bitonio is the only guy who has been healthy. They currently have 5 OL on the IR, 3 of whom have made multiple starts this year. Even their supporting-blockers like Chubb is just now being activated for the first time this year, and Njoku has missed 3 starts and played <50% in 2 more.

We love to complain about our injuries when just a couple guys go down, but there's teams out there much much worse off than us.

I was pointing out,  your idea that the Bengals might overlook the Browns, i can't see the logic in  how you can think a team 2-4 is over looking a team 1-5 in a division game playing away but I agree we should be win with game with the obvious talent difference ...

You do know our D 30th in sacks and 27th in rush yards per game?

And the Giants just manhandled our offense?

The Browns have a ton of guys hurt, we just suck.

I don't know so much about being nervous? But I do believe this is a defining game for this season. Lose this one and the playoffs become a long shot at best. And it pretty much means, as JB said himself, we're not a championship level team anyways.

ESPN analytics has Bengals currently around 33% (or in that ballpark) of making the playoffs. So yeah, there is very little room for error right now. They need to win before losing to say the least to make the playoffs. Because yeah, a loss today against a bad team that is also our rival would be close to a lights out punch.

Pretty sure they're going to play him in hopes he either quits, gets killed on the field, or some crazy fan takes him out.

I've been known to joke, but I do think they're furious.enough to spitefully run his ass into the ground. As a franchise their only way to save face with  fans and the universe is to put him in a position to suffer.

The guy is a sex offender with like a billion bucks, I assure you his career is dead, his mind is elsewhere, and he doesn't care.

If Watson even looks serviceable at this point, heads should roll.

all teams lose good players ..its financially impossible to keep everyone....you are just focused on  this  because of your past feelings about Mike Brown. the organization has indeed spent money on its good players ..maybe not to your satisfaction  or speed...and the results of the past 3 years speak volumes..and while "community relations" may have very little or anything t do with wins..I think this organization has done a heck of a job .

I would agree...the defense certainly looked better with injured players now returning..now they have to put it all together and frankly Cleveland at this point is not that good of a a team.
