Maybe ST? I don't remember seeing him on offense.

Edit: just saw the snap count thread, he wasn't on ST.

3 snaps and 3 run blocks. Most likely he didn't play on any passing downs. Also could have been special teams maybe.

It's really encouraging to see some of these defensive grades week to week. Jenkins, Turner, etc. It's really important that our young guys on the defensive side of the ball continue to play consistently well. Love it.

Myles Murphy on the other hand...starting to get a bit concerned.

Just can't wrap my head around why it's so hard for the Bengals RBs to pass block. I guess we got spoiled by Bernard for all those years? Do they just not teach/train/practice pass blocking in college anymore?

I feel like Moss has been pretty good this year. Yesterday was lacking it seems.

Alex Cappa is having a rough year.

It's honestly shocking how bad this entire OL unit is at run blocking. Not one OL scored above a 60.

Mixon had solid numbers early in his career, so not sure what happen here, i read he was doing well in Houston blocking

Just saw him get his ass handed to him numerous times yesterday. Thank God he is with Houston now.

BTW, love those run stopping grades by Jenkins and even Trey who we all dog on with his run stopping. Agree with Weezy that it is
getting a touch concerning with Myles Murphy. It is time for him to emerge as a pass rusher and do what he is good at in stopping the
run, he is getting snaps.

Cappa is being very inconsistent this year same as Volson. Orlando Brown is playing great, happy he is okay. Love Mims.

Yeah, free agency or the '25 draft needs to add some IOL depth.

Yeah. 25 carries for 115 yards and 2 TDs. Who needs that?

No, we need IOL who can run block, and starters.

I'm confused. I said we need IOL and you said no. By depth, I mean a stronger position group from the starter to the backups.

Matt Lee is a good interior offensive line prospect that looked good in preseason. He can play center and Karras could kick out to guard.

But I agree.

It actually isn't shocking. Given how rarely we run and our insistence on always being in the gun we set our OL up to fail in run blocking. Good run blocking lines need reps to get into a groove and also not to have the formation give the play away like we do.

Depth refers to the backups.

Matches what I saw, pretty much. Defense won the game, led by Trey.
Bengals have sold out toward the pass game and pass blocking. Every player on the OL was chosen for pass blocking. The run game takes a backseat almost to the point of being a trick play.
Run plays are called for clock management or change of pace, not because they pose a threat. And the coaches look confused as why run plays don't work out.

I will admit that I do not stare at the Offensive linemen as the play develops, but Mims' score is baffling to me. He seemed to play great to me.
