Absolutely blown out at home today.

Good teams wins those games, bad teams lose them

Absolutely agree. Game of inches in the NFL and close losses are simply losses. I was just pointing out that today was a shellacking. Eagles are a playoff team and we're not close.

I was speaking of our dusty and dry trophy case, as opposed to them actually having trophies.

Bengals football is about the only thing that brings me pain and misery.  I watched every game through the 90's, through the 2000's, the 2010's.  We get Burrow and Chase and finally it seems like the perpetual decade after decade of being a loser team with a loser FO with loser coaches and loser players was over.  It lasted 2 effing years.  2 EFFING YEARS.  And now it's back to the 90's, 2000's, 2010's AFTER 2 EFFING YEARS of fun.  I'm done.  I just cannot take this level of disappointment anymore.

If it has that significant of a negative affect on you I agree, probably time to move on and find something else to spend your Sundays on.   Getting that worked up over a sport you have no control over to the point it brings you pain and misery isn't healthy.  I hope whatever you decide to focus on next is not as stressful for you.

Changes are not going to happen. I wish they would. I wish Zac would lay down his ego, right beside his play calling duties. Although he led to us to the AFCC game and a SB, he's letting the window close. Unfortunately, the front office will only remember what he's done, and not what he's done recently.

He basically kept insisting that the team is much better than their record indicates that they are.

This man reportedly remains skeptical.

Yikes. Dude, if it hits you this hard, you should probably not watch games for awhile. This is not our year, but I get it. It used to be very painful for me to watch the Bengals lose year after year. Please trust me when I say I feel your pain. I find joy watching the games because I'm with my friends. We don't mourn losses anymore since it's common, and we have been seasoned since the 90's.

It might help casually rooting for other teams. I've liked the Colts since John Kitna. Although those days are long passed. I also root for the underdogs a lot. I guess what I'm saying is, find joy in the sport you love to watch. I loved seeing the Browns beat the Ravens. I've been where you are currently. It sucks. Hope you find a way to enjoy again.

The team is not better than his play calling.

The bengals haven’t come up with a new offensive play, since Zac Taylor got here.

The defense knows the play before we even run it.

Our go to play for short yardage is a pass behind the line of scrimmage. And it works so well.
