Going For It on 4th Down Was Stupid

The only way we win that game is if we kept the ball out of Hurts' hands and maybe get a lucky turnover.

Going for it on 4th down was, objectively, the correct call.

It was just a complete shit play call.

That's on Zac.

Terrible call and read by JB and that's coming out of a TO for crying out loud. There was NOTHING there. Everybody in the park knew either Gesicki or Chase was getting the ball and with the OL not trusted too much at pass protection it was 75/25 that the play was a quick one to Chase. I'd much rather have Chase, with his strength, come off of man press coverage on a quick out, a hitch or slant than 5 yards behind the LOS.

Going for the 54 yard FG was worse Mac is struggling D was playing well we could have went for it on 4th and 7 there we could have punted to keep inside 10 at that point eagles had 3 points and not much time left in the first half. Mac misses kick and they wound up tying the game with no time left in the first half. We lost the momentum and the game with this horrible decision this kind of thing with Zac is becoming a pattern.

I agree with going for it at that point. Defense wasn't going to stop them that's for sure. Zac could see that just like the rest of us.

Have to be able to get 1 yard there.

Certainly, a disappointing season so far.

This. Up the gut behind these interior linemen with a backup caliber RB was not the brightest thing to call. The 4th down play was somehow worse.

Eagles took control of the game from then on.  It's not rocket science.  4th down around your own 35, you Punt and try to pin them back. The score was close with plenty of time on the clock, Going for it was Stupid.

Damn straight! That was stupid as hell.
