Jamarr & Joe - Get Out
#41
The Bengals sucked bad enough to draft Chase and Burrow. Everything else has been the garbage that it has been for awhile. Some want to pretend something was built here, when these two Champions came back together play with a collection kitty cats. Of course these guys stay in a bad mood. They do more than others in the league and are still losers. Bengals have not figured out how to win these elite status superstars.

Jamarr will get paid by 31 other teams.

Joe’s going to have to pull a Palmer. But the hits he’ll save himself sitting out while waiting to be traded will be worth it in the long run.

Those guys deserve HOF careers and at least one ring. Stars aligned once, and they lost. They will not be back. 75% of this team is a total rebuild and the coaching staff routinely loses battles of wits with cold mashed potatoes.

Get out. Find a way. You deserve better.

You people on this site really don't know what the hell you are talking about, do you.   Burrow to Chase is the one reason Bengals almost beat Ravens, and your great words of wisdom are to get rid of Burrow to Chase.

I know there is a little click group on here that thinks they know everything about football.  In reality all they do is whine and complain.

I will say this.  The Bengals will win 10 to 11 games this year.  I'm not sure if that's good enough for play-offs.  I know they only have 4 wins now, but this team will win 10 games this year.  They have lost by a few points to some very good teams.  Last night they were a 2 point conversion from winning.  So you all can give up on this team if you want to, and that is exactlly what i would expect from most of you.  I say this team will win 10 or 11 games this season.....and why did they go for a 2 point conversion. 2 reasons, To win, and also they just played Sunday and it was Thursday, so overtime is asking a lot.

Joe Burrow has earned every cent of his contract. He has been beaten to death ever since he got here and will feel that later on in life. Wrist injury aside - because I don't think we have the full story on that - he has been durable and fearless considering the pounding he has taken. The wrecked knee was caused by the shit line the Bengals provided for him.

Last night reminded me of a 2024 version of bounty gate without the bounty.

Both players deserve better.

You mean they were a 2 point conversion away from winning?  Extra point would have tied it up and taken them to overtime.  Another bad, bad coaching decision.

My gripes are solely with the FO and coaching.  I feel bad for the players who have to play for owners who refuse to go all in on winning.  The Brown family is a joke when it comes to running a pro NFL team.

If you are a Bengal fan and actually serious about wanting Burrow and Chase to get out so they can win elsewhere, then you have lost the plot. The focus needs to be fully on the front office to make core changes in their off-season operations. They have three Ferraris on this roster and the front office are Luminas.

The point? The point is these guys deserve better than what this FO is ever going to give them.

Come on, Van Houten. Bear down.

Are you really so dense as to believe we want Chase & Burrow traded because we think it’ll make this team better?

That REALLY swung the momentum for sure. Then the defense started their usual bed shitting, and Joe got WAY too greedy on those two bombs. Am I the only one that noticed he checked into one, and had Gesicki open underneath on the 4th down? Other than that, stellar performance wasted by shit defense in the second half, and a young back that forgot to double skin it in the scrum.

No, the plot is that the fans deserve better, not the players.

Going for two was a bad decision? Explain why.... I'm intrigued. Every analyst I've seen said it was the right call. The defense had given up four straight scoring drives, and you wanna give them another crack? Didn't we all complain about going for the tie against Baltimore the last game? Short term memory is bad around here, lol. Not only that, two DPIs and a facemask weren't called on that 2 pt conversion.

We both do, but the players are the only ones who can do anything about their plight.

All fans can do is stop watching, which will happen en masse if Chase & Burrow find a way out.

They hit on some free agents too. They were so bad that it forced them to sign free agents like Trey, Reader, Chide, Hilton, and they had Bates, etc.

They've largely abandoned that strategy in free agency and are bringing in Nick Scott's and Geno Stone's. Stone might not be a bad player if we had more playmakers on defense. But, we have very little pass rush.

Exactly, and they did exactly jack shit about it before the deadline.

It's quite incredible... Joe Burrow is having a season which should have him around the MVP conversation. He's had his #2 WR missing plenty of games and his #3 WR left in the summer. Neither particularly well replaced when unavailable. All after his wrist injury it's an insane comeback really.

We've taken advantage of Burrow's comeback, with a defence and coaching staff so bad that they've got a top end QB in his prime, sitting at 4-6 right now. Absolutely certain to miss the playoffs in reality.

Does a good team go for 2 at the end there? I'm very much not sure Andy Reid does.

Whatever the case, this Franchise has done it again... but on an even bigger level of failure. We've been gifted absolute superstars in Burrow and Chase, and we are going to absolutely waste their careers.
