You should read the comments following YouTube videos about last night’s embarrassing debacle. People who don’t normally follow the Bengals are weighing in and it’s ugly. Commenters are smacking on Zac Taylor hard for his abysmal play calling and for his horrible decisions to go for it instead of taking a certain field goal or extra point.

They don't trust Money, and it's changed their approach. "some" saw/feared this coming week 3.

Thank you; I hadn’t even considering not trusting McPherson.

That's no excuse for the 4th down calls, but having to go for it due to Money being shaky this season certainly forced them to play like they couldn't kick FG's.

Yeah that would have been like a 53/54 yard FG. I'm skeptical he would have made it.
The Bengals find a way to lose. Much like Final Destination, alterations we made would have just resulted in losing a different way.

The other thing which frosted my flakes last night is when our new running back, Khalil Herbert, fumbled the ball on his first snap as a Bengal. He was immediately brought to the sideline and benched the rest of the game. That was idiotic. Herbert should have been given the very next ball as a way to build up his confidence.

It was you, lol, not some. You are looking prophetic, and I'll give you that.
OP: Whitworth, Fitz, and Sherman ALL agreed that it was the correct call to go for two. I'll take their word over some YouTube "experts". We bashed him for being too conservative against Baltimore game 1, now we're bashing him for being too aggressive?

Depressing....but likely true.

You could say the same for Chase brown, 2 runs after his fumble. So now we don’t trust our RBs, we don’t trust our Kicker.

The way our defense was playing...giving up TD drives 4 drives in a row...you go for 2.
That said, you call a better play.

I don't blame Zac for having a deep shot on their 4th down calls. It's good to have a multitude of options, and they can affect the defense in a way that helps the shorter routes get open.
I blame Joe for throwing to the deep shots when they weren't WIDE OPEN.

With rare exceptions the Bengals have proven they will lose without Tee Higgins in the lineup.

I liked the play, it was open too....two no call DPIs negated it. Throw in the facemask on a QB for good measure. There was one instance they went for it on fourth down I didn't agree with. I didn't like Joe not taking the underneath that was open on two straight bombs. Otherwise, I thought the game plan, play calls, decisions were good on offense....Chase Brown not double skinning the ball notwithstanding. I thought Lou had a good game plan, and good calls for the most part. He got sabotaged by piss poor execution. I blame this loss more on personnel than anything....and that's a front office problem.

Exactly. ....and the underneath was WIDE OPEN. He's just gotta learn that the jump balls only work to Tee Higgins at a high percentage.

we had what 3rd and 2?...you get the two yards...I have defended Zac Taylor..no more..and as brilliant as Burrow seems ..many of his throws are off and he does not show awareness as he used to.

Gesicki was WIDE OPEN beyond the sticks. Explain to me how that's the coach's fault.

Bengals proved they can play up to the competition and play down to the competition and no better.
Every game is right there for the win, but yet they lose the majority of them.

Bengals never get those calls in the waning moments of the game. Only Mahomes gets those calls.
