No he wasn’t. Awuzie missed half that season. CTB was their CB1 the other half. And he actually played well against some very good WR1’s. In 23 he had DK Metcalf locked down so bad dude starting going after him. He was our 2nd highest graded player after Reader in the Bills playoff game where Diggs was a total non-factor. He showed some serious promise of being a good CB. It seemed like injuries would be the only thing that held him back.

Whatever happened this season he just looks like a totally different player.

He's not a #1 CB and they made him one. It's kinda not his fault. They put him in a role he can't succeed in.

Bingo, he looked good in a supporting role as the starter. He was never cut out to be the "elder statesman" of a CB room full of guys younger than he, in just his 3rd season.
