Just like he is doing this year.

I used to but he is right there with AJ Green in my book a bum that turned his back on his team after being tagged. With ESPN projecting him to have 580 yards this year and 641 last year, maybe he gets a deal with performance incentives, but I just don't see anywhere close to what I think he's looking for ($25 million+). I do not want the guy back even on a long turn deal. I just cannot root for a guy that stabs you in the back once. I hope he gets an incentive deal as well and falls on his face and fails like so many others that turned their back on us thinking the grass is greener someplace else. They either failed in performance or ended up in losing programs.

I will mention Baseball and the years of players unable to negotiate, which lead to Curt Flood and Players Union taking Baseball to court. Baseball has had strikes and so has football. If teams such as Bengals would abuse the Free Agent Market by slapping the Franchise Tag on the same player over and over, that would be solid reason for The Players Union to go on Strike against The NFL and take the NFL to court. It is within the rules to tag players twice do I think it is a good idea? No. but it is well within the rules that the player association agreed with. So, you know where you can stick your strike.

And if he does Bengals can be in the mix since it likely won’t be franchise tag money. If we lose two more games, then I would not play Higgins even if he is healthy, it will be all about getting the future WR ready for next year and Tee is not part of that plan.

Really liked both WR's and understand why they are doing it as well. Yet most believed Tee was such a good guy that he would show loyalty to the Bengals when the team is not showing him any by not signing him longterm. I fell for it with AJ Green too though thinking he would be loyal to his fans and team over his families meal train. Messing with peoples livelihoods usually ends up a bad monetary decision for the ones trying to hold the player hostage it seems. Also feel as I've said many times, its very advantageous to trade him to the team of your choice than let him walk for free and sign with the Ravens, steelers, or Browns and come back on a revenge tour. Has been my stance for 3 years now and just got tired of arguing it when it only fell on deaf ears anyway. If you do not get a dance partner, then you are stuck with Tee hamstring injury for another year at 26 million. The Bengal's are the ugliest girl at the dance and the poorest nobody is going to ask us to dance they will just laugh as we eat 26 million for a bum that won't suit up. |
