Whatever's Way Too Early Pan Me Mock Draft 2025
#21
I'm not seeing many 6-7 300 OTs this year, but there are quite a few 6-3 or 6-4 320 OTs who could move inside available through day 2. I think Mims is going to be OK, but with the Bengals roster, they have to pick a player in the 1st round who is capable of contributing immediately, unlike Dax, Murphy, and yes, Mims. So I'm comfortable with Jeanty, especially at 22.

There's currently 3 prospects who might be available in that range, and one of them teams may like as a T.  No guarantee that any is a scheme fit, either.

In my Mock I have San Francisco trading up from one of the Tackles because they need a RT and very likely a LG.

If thr Bengals are sitting at 9-11 that's great trade down territory for a team wanting to reach for those OT/Gs in a overall weak OL class. Also a guy like Jalen Milore but I don't think there will be QB needy teams in range for Milroe.

Thing is, how often do teams trade up in the 1st for OL?

Just honestly thinking about it, I don't remember the last time a team traded up on the 1st for an OL. There's sometimes maneuvering one Day 2 for them, but I just can't recall a time a team gave up a bunch of picks to come up and get one.

Though, if Campbell or Banks is the BPA, if G doesn't get seriously addressed in FA, I think you have to consider taking them and sticking them at LG for a couple years to groom them to take over for Brown.

Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of the "top rated" Offensive Tackles they are getting pushed way up the board because the tackle class is bad if not worse than 2023.

That's also alot of this entire draft class not alot of true first round prospects maybe like 9 total including a safety and running back lol.

I'm honestly just leaning towards taking the best non-QB available at 9, at this point.  Pass rush is obviously our biggest need, but it's a deep DL class.  Honestly, if we traded down, I'd be more excited for picks in the 2026 draft class.
