Kickers are all about mentality. Dude’s career is cooked. Once a professional gets the yips they rarely come back.

Who can say but those misses definitely affect momentum and game planning.

Maybe not, but maybe. It sucks we won't ever know.

We don't seem to have the makeup to close games, Tre struggles to get that key sack , Burrow that key 1st down and Mac is missing.

He's a problem, but two at best.

Defense folded like a cheap suit in the end to allow a TD (for 34 total, none of which McPherson gave up), and McPherson can't score 7 points with 1 or 2 made kicks.

I'm assuming the other one you're wrong on is the Chiefs game because people bring that up forgetting what actually happened in that game. He missed the PAT, so the Chiefs scored a TD and went for 2 (and failed). If he makes the PAT, the Chiefs just kick their PAT instead of going for 2 and failing, and the score differential doesn't change.

I'm just not going to blame Burrow for this. His YTD TD/INT ratio stands at 27/4.

I would have liked to have seen the 2 plays before that kick attempt as run plays to force 2 timeouts and maybe gain 6 or 7 yards but nooooo.. two missed deep passes and like 5 seconda off the clock. Zac play calling at its best right there.

Too bad Evan has no confidence in himself

Send a message and cut him. I know the seasons lost but at least the FO can act like they care (they don’t)

their stats are great because they are talented, but the penultimate series was the dumbest play calling ever..they needed to move the chains close enough to help Evan, 50 yrds was just not gonna do it for him that night. They could not do it.. they went with bombs for another miracle, the % of that happening is very, very low. Zac losing patience? Burrow needs to chill and work the chains... the college days are long gone.

Time to go and find something fun and lighthearted to watch like Schindler's List or maybe The Passion of Christ.

He got the shit knocked out of him tonight. He has to seriously be considering demanding to be traded or just retire. Goes for Chase too.

I’ve watched every post game press conference since he joined the team. I’ve never seen him appear so emotionally down as tonite. It’s more than just the dejection of a loss.

I got so much crap for saying Burrow wasn’t clutch in the offseason. Well, so yall wanna face the facts yet? And miss me with the stats, I’m not arguing he isn’t a great quarterback up until about 4 min to go in close games. But when is the last time he got the ball in the final minutes and drove us down the field to win us the game? I’ll wait….yet again tonight he didn’t throw to a WIDE OPEN Chase that woulda probably won the game….then he gets another chance and overthrows him. The gamers MAKE those throw in crunch time. Burrow simply doesn’t have that. Obviously if we could put a real defense out there and an o line we could still get to the promise land…but it’ll just never happen on his back in the final minutes. He’s had SOOOO many chances, and every single time he comes up short.

Mcpherson used to hit the fieldgoals that would get the bengals the win. Now he's terrible, and burrow is getting burned for it lol

crazy what a kicker can do
