If Andy Reid or John Harbaugh were our HC

They aren't. They won't be. This is idiotic speculation.

It matters - for sure.

Did they really? I would debate that..

Kyle Shanahan is 6-9 favored to win the NFC he may get fired.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Taylor is 7-8. We’ve had more injuries

Had players lose children and not play, Greenlaw was out until a week ago, WR Brandon Aiyuk out for the year, Christian McCaffrey out most of the year, his replacement Mason went down, draft pick was shot. Starting QB missed games.

You trying to compare with what Bengals injuries? Embarrassing.

Talent of who they missed is no where on par with who we missed. No where close. Added to it, how you come in here name dropping Kyle Shannan, when thread had nothing to do with him? No one thinks injuries have anything to do with this team's failures. We have the #1 QB and WR in many ratings, sack leader, all playing. They have future hall of famers and Pro Bowlers out.

Players to hit IR for each:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/injuries/_/name/cin/cincinnati-bengals
https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/injuries/_/name/sf/san-francisco-49ers

These lists are not the same.

Completely disputes it like I said. We’ve had a lot more starters miss games. It’s not close.

It’s Kyle Shanahan not Shannon. And the subject was about coaches who could do better. Shanahan has had less injuries and more losses.

They still lost more players, and Trent Williams is better than any starter we had on IR. What three best Bengals on that list are better than say their 3,4,5 on those lists? We lost low and mid ranked nfl players compared to what they lost. Our starters wouldn’t even start for them, aside for Mr. Needs a Nickname Kicker.

Making injury excuses. Come on, that’s weak. Want to say it’s not Taylor’s fault and it’s the front office or Lou, fine, have that discussion, but nowhere can anyone say that the injuries the Bengals had are the teams problem.damn, I even see people blame Burrow. Starting like garbage every year is who they have been. SF did their record with the last pick in the draft, not the first. Lions have guys who were not even in their training camp playing defense and fields a better team. We fighting for playoffs and what Cam Sample was a loss we couldn’t overcome or something. Come on.

Saying he may get fired? From where do you get this?since we love the past around here, he got to four conference championship games and two super bowls. And “he might get fired” after all the good-great players injured. Nah, that’s just saying stuff. And again, Harbaugh and Reid was the thread started. Not just a “pick a coach” to make I guess a point that someone else with a bad record might get fired? Ok, what does that have to do with the thread at hand?

Never said Shannon, but autocorrect sucks, right? I count more players and better players. It’s like only Chase and Chase Brown being out most of the season and that would nothing since another team has 4 players out?

What Bengals on IR you think would have won us more games?

It was the number of starters each game not just one player. The Bengals had way more missed games by starters. Not close.

dude..we lost both our starting tackles..Burrow was about 60% the first five games recovering from injury..we lost our starting running back and then we had a plethora amount of injuries on defense..we even lost McPherson..Higgins missed a number of games and has a chronic hamstring problem..we lost a ton of players on defense..Harbuagh, Reid Belechick..etc...would not have done much better this year
