***Week 13 GameDay Thread - Steelers @ Bengals***
Hopefully this season shows how badly the FO needs to replace the Bengal's DC.

The offense is clicking, but the D cannot stop a goat from wandering into the end zone...

Yet in the offense people will worry about Lou being "stolen: from the team, and thankful/amazed he remains with the Bengals another year...

On the flip side, a mid/late first round pick is a prime spot for a linebacker or IOL...

Probably a crapshoot if they would have taken the penalty if Pittsburgh would have thrown or just run it twice to run as much clock as possible before punting. They may not risk a pass, given the clock stoppage for an incompletion or potential interception only being up six. Either way, I think taking the penalty was a way better play. Still sad that we allowed a completion on third and four knowing 1000% that they’re going to run and even more so that they brought in a quarterback who had not thrown a pass today for who is known for keeping…

Hubbard is washed and he doesn't deserve to be here next year. At this point they should just play the young guys and see what they have. Play Murphy, Jenkins, Josh Newton, Battle. We've nothing to lose. Season is over.

This team is done this year. And I'm guessing that the coaching staff will be, too.
And, hopefully, Mike Brown's control over the franchise follows soon after.

That would likely be his answer to Mike.

Pairing him with Burrow would be a dream though. I don’t get the resistance to the idea from some of our fans at all.

You are overly generous in how small that pile is...

Pfft

Prediction is we finish 8-9 and get the somewhere around the 12-16th pick

I’m saying the same shit

We are going to win out now that we are out of contention and not even get a guy like Graham from Michigan

Well pick 20th and have to take a ***** bum who won’t start year 1 and will be ass even when he does play because this team needs top 5 talent not more ***** depth

But oops, we constructed the roster so shittily that next year we’ll also need depth.

Firing Lou means little. These are some really bad players. Yes, it absolutely needs to be done, but flushing the toilet on a sinking ship only accounts for so much.

Nah, were out of playoff contention (essentially)

This team will finish strong in order to retain our incompetence coaching staff, push our draft pick back, and not make any good trades because “we are confident in who we currently have”

I have been hoping for that for decades.  Marvin lasted 16 years.  Mike Brown is still breathing so no.

What indication do we have that the next generation of Browns running the Bengals will be any better?  Some social media hype and a ring of honor?

Nothing has changed since Burrow got here.

Where are all the peeps who said I was a downer on the Bengals at the beginning of the season.

So take that, I was right

Bingo. Duke and his poor drafting/FA signings is the biggest problem.

Try Matt Lee at C with Karras at LG.
Might just set up the IOL better going into next year.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

When you play the bengals, anyone can be an mvp candidate

I said this team will go as far as the defense takes them. I was right in the money. Bingo
