Joe Burrow puts team on notice
(Yesterday, 04:52 PM)Wyche Wrote: I've seen it mentioned elsewhere too. I'm not sure that would sit well with Joe. They've effed up this entire year, no need to add to it by pissing off the franchise. If he's open to it, then by all means do it. It's a Catch 22 for me. On one hand, I don't want to see anything stupid happen to him in a lost season, but if he's not onboard with it, I don't want him disgruntled too.

Oh, I would bet money that Joe would be like "F that. I'm playing. Last game to the last minute." Yet, I could see Mike Brown saying "I paid a lot of money to this QB and I don't want to have him on IR to start next year."

*Guy has been injured a lot already. This O-line has played like this while chasing the Super Bowl. When the other side of tomorrow is selling roofing shingles, I am not sure of the quality of blocking we will get out of them. You think the Browns or Steelers would not take their shot at Burrow.

Not on the fire ZT wagon either. But this team needs to start over on the drawing board with A LOT of issues.

People like you guys are why the ownership doesn’t make changes when needed. It’s ok, he went to a Super Bowl years ago. Doesn’t matter that the team is awful, let’s give him 10 more years. Hammer
