Even if the Bengals were to land a playoff spot, how well do you think this team would do against legitimate contenders?
It may be fun to think of the hypotheticals, but the Bengals need a lot of revamping in order to make another serious playoff run.

Not really they just need a average defense. Literally anyone can give us the shit Lou has the past 2 years. Fire him.

It would still be incredible to have made it in, from 4-8. I do think we'll need a miracle next week for it to happen though.

Along with needing a noticeably improved defense, better coaching and management is overdue.
"There needs to be better play calling, that's on me" -- actual quote from Zac Taylor. Defense coaches and organization ownership obviously also leave a lot to be desired.

Idiot announcers. That slam happened well after the whistle. Penalty every time.

If we get in the playoffs our most likely route would be BUF-BAL-KC. We own BUF and played both BAL and KC very tough this year.
Hell, KC needed a 4th and 16th DPI call to beat us without Tee.
So' I'd say we'd be competitive.

It would be KC after Buffalo since we would be the lowest seed.

So this is what it's like to be a Browns' fan, eh?
Holy shit.

Lowest remaining seed plays #1 and so on. Always been that way.

Oh they likely wouldn't win a single playoff game.

If they make it in, sure that would be nice. With what we've seen this season though I will not be upset if they fizzle out.

Ohio coaches taking those unneeded 4th downs.

Eh, F him.
He's still a great player, but I soured on him as a person when he attacked Browns fans for being mean to poor widdle Deshaun Watson who he called a "model citizen".

I guess I'm thinking of something different. I'd rather play KC than BAL.

Stefanksi have Zac on speed-dial? His fingerprints are all over that bad decision.

I also prefer playing "not to lose".

Jets helping us may be the biggest ask at this point.
