How is anyone blaming Joe Burrow for our record? Lol. One of the worst defenses in franchise history fielded by Lou Anarumo.
  • The reason Zac Taylor will be fired is because he didn't fire Lou Anarumo.
  • The reason Lou Anarumo will be fired is because he didn't bench or fire Germaine Pratt after his asinine tackling comments.
  • The reason Germaine Pratt will be fired is because he's a liar, dumb, or both - as a Captain.
Realistically what is the last straw for Lou? No other team would have him as DC right now and no other team would have Zac as HC right now. Mike Brown's fault. The team succeeded not because of MB, he lucked out.

Most of the league would have Burrow as their QB, this thread is stupid lol.

I think every other fan of any other team would be laughing at this thread. It's like blaming Myles Garrett for the Browns record. "He should have gotten that safety, that's why we lost."

The team had failed him in the overall big picture... Let alone during situational moments in games.

The issue is when things get dicey for those two they can use their legs and scrambling ability as a get out of free jail card. Burrow has some escape ability yes but not to the extent of those two.

It's why having an elite offensive line is so important for a QB like Burrow and why the FO continues to fail him.

The above is why I believe Sharpe is always harping on Burrow but he chooses not to explain the true reason why those turnovers occur. It's poor O-Line play and our Defense is dog crap.

Sharpe harps because he's a hot take guy and people talk about and click on his bullshit.

I saw Peyton blink first repeatedly when he had one of the best offenses of all time when they faced the Legion of Boom (also against a second year QB). Mahomes blinked first on 3 different occasions against us. There was definitely something in his eye. Y'all are too much. Expecting the QB to carry this sorry ass team for 60 minutes. Burrow's performance matched with this team's record is literally unprecedented... It's basically impossible to play this well, and have your team suck this bad. 33 MFers out on that field,  but the best guy out there is blinking first?

Regardless of what happened the first 56 minutes if the game is tied 100-100 with 4 minutes left it’s a new ballgame. It’s a 0-0 game. And in 0-0 / 0-3 games with under 4 minutes left Bengals are losing. More than they did under even Dalton. That’s what people struggle with when it comes to Burrow and the clutch narrative that all outside of this board have come to terms with.

These other teams we’ve played let it be noted, have had defenses that gave up 35+as well in wins against us. So it’s possible to win shootouts contrary to belief that has tried to be spread on this board. We’ve witnessed it.

Y’all saying Burrow can’t win shootouts is not a glowing sign of top 3 QB confidence.

He shouldn’t have to constantly but he should be able to if needed as an alleged top 3 QB.

But the other team is going against a trash defense. It's not "fair", then again having Chase and Tee as WRs is probably also not fair lol.

All teams can score on the Bengals D, at will.
Most teams cannot score on the Steelers D. Now Burrow did give the ball away 3 times, 2 were arguably his fault.

Defense wins championships, saying is still true in most sports. For some reason, we can rely on a Defense but not an Offense to pull out an important win.

was drew brees at fault for the multiple 7-9 seasons with the saints?

Dont say burrow isnt brees, thats irrelevant

The losses aren’t on Burrow. Anyone who says otherwise are legit trolling.

But those with a critical eye on why we with a top QB can’t win a shootout, even 1, have merit. Growing merit.

Yes. Same with Rivers. It’s why they aren’t mentioned consistently with the Brady, Mannings, Mahomes, Big Ben, or even Eli’s of that generation.

Would you choose Brees as a QB with his teams having those records a lot over the others QB’s.

Answer that question.

Burrow has won shootouts. Im guessing you already forgot 21 and 22. Not this year though because the bengals have THE worst defense in the afc.

Brees couldnt even win with awful defenses in new orleans

Nah, more like 2 were arguably not his fault. Hard Knocks had a really good replay of the Nick Herbig strip sack and he beat OBJ so fast Burrow never had a chance.

And ofc the pick was both tipped at the line AND off Tee’s hands.

I haven’t forgot 21-22. You remember me getting attacked for bringing up how long it’s been since Burrow has been clutch. Mentioning  how long ago those seasons were. You were one of those who hated to hear it. So I know you remember.

I like the narrative that because Burrow fumbled against the chiefs and steelers, that is the reason the bengals are 4-8.

Goff threw 5 inteceptions in 1 game. thats how many interceptions burrow has all year. And the Lions are like 11-1 or something

a small minority of people cant grasp the team game concept. Theyve watched too many hot take shows and it burnt a hole in their frontal lobe

Eli was clutch and that wins champions and really all you want in a QB. I mean stats are nice but we see this season how meaningless they really are.

yea so you'd take Flacco over Burrow.

if you say no, then you are a hypocrite, since superbowls are the only things that matter
