Wow, very shocking to hear.
Dude was always one of the most positive guys on the old board.
Bengals were his everything.
RIP my dude.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Some hated him for having a positive outlook during some trying times. Personally I applaud him for it and he truly was a dedicated Bengals fan and in fact the biggest Homer ever known in these parts.

Never met him but always tried to work a deal with him on trading tickets for a game. Per he had front row seats behind the oppositions bench and I had the exact same seats behind the Bengals bench. Could never get him to do it though, oh well.

Rest in Peace DennyG

Hate to hear it. Denny got a bad rap for his homerism, but he always seemed like a cordial guy to me. Never like seeing someone go so early. RIP and WHO DEY to him.

Ah man, didn't expect this, always thought Denny was in good shape. Rest in Peace DennyG. Mellow

No one with cancer that dies "lost" their battle with it. I hate it when people say this shit.

At best, the cancer died with him. It's a draw at worst but a victory at best.

Thanks for digging KillerGoose. Damn cancer, always takes people out too soon. That chemo sucks. Took my uncle back in the day.

Terrible.

Remember his unwavering optimism from the original board we migrated from.

A shame. The world needs more positive people like him in it

Oh yeah, Denny was over the top positive even more than me by far. Him and JoefromFlo went at it a lot before the old board got shut down.

Too bad Denny never made it over to here, which is a better board IMHO.

Lost my farther-figure coach, my grandfather, and my younger sister to it.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Disregard my last reply. It's aggressive cope.

I think it was his blind defense and homerism - it really drove some people over the edge lol.

Wasn't he employed by the Bengals for a little while?  I thought I remember him posting stuff about that.  I always laughed at/with others about him being a homer, but that's what made him DennyG2

My father in law as well - a month and half ago.  Found out he had it on August 29 and passed away mid October.  I was telling my wife we should just skip October.  We lost a 5 month old on October 19 about 11 years ago and then her dad on October 16th.  Never easy.

An absolute legend and class act from the mothership (old board). As some of you know, I share his eternal optimism. Pretty sure some suspected I might've been Denny, which I took as a compliment. He really rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but I had the chance to meet him at a game, and I gotta say he was absolutely authentically happy as hell in a somewhat annoying way, lol! Dalton throws a pick 6? ah, he'll get em next time. Marvin loses 6th playoff game in a row, the 7th is when it's gonna happen. Stuff like that.

This board should do something to keep his memory alive, in my opinion. He was the best of all of us, even if we didn't always see it or treat him that way.
