We should have known how bad our interior line was going to be and how bad our defense was outside of Trey yet we chose to sit on our hands. Outside of Tre Logan and maybe CTB we don't have anyone else that could start on most if not all the rest of the teams in NFL.

I guarantee the Trey situation is effecting the other defensive players' mindset. Trey is demanding trades, pissed about his contract...
you dont think he's telling the other players about his gripes? How the front office is handling it? Of course he is.

It's just like any other company. Employees aren't treated right, they talk shit and start despising the organization they work for.
Does that carry over to the field on Sundays? Prob not directly, but it most likely does indirectly. Slacking off on film, workouts, not putting in as much effort for game preperation.
The boys are just talkin' ball, babyyyy

3 of our 4 best players either asked for a trade or were holding-in. That was always a red flag.

All the talk about Trey Hendrickson talking to teammates about this or that is crazy since this guy is leading the NFL in sacks.
He is not that type of guy to be so petty that he would let his situation affect his team or his effort and play on the field.
If he was, he would be riding the pine and not giving effort claiming he had a tight hammy or another injury.
The effort alone shows his teammates he is fighting to help win games and help the team regardless of whether he is happy about his pay or not.

He's a profession, that's what they do.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Tee Higgins is a professional as well that has missed a lot of game and a long way from leading the league at his WR spot in production.
Now if you wanted to claim Tee was crying to teammates and causing the team revolt in the locker room that might be more believeable.
But do not throw Trey under the bus while he is giving max effort.

I'm not the one who suggested that either of them were "poisoning" the locker room with negative sentiments. Both of those players put their heads down and went to work when the season began. Hendrickson is leading the league in sacks, and Higgins is awesome when he's healthy and available.

It was. I wouldn't be surprised if the coaches didn't think there were some new faces (specifically young players like Mims, Jenkins, Jackson) that needed some time to grow and the OL and defense would improve as the season went on.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

We also made no trades to try and stop the leak in the defence. We got. A running back when our offence is putting up good numbers. I cant figure this out. The decision the FO makes baffels my mind.
