Aikman said he was sure that particular official was going to call roughing the passer, but the official never did. (The official did call a hold on the Bengals player holding back Micah Parsons, but not the Parsons' late hit on the same play--so the official was watching) The Burrow got a long, facemask pull that caused him to fumble -- one so egregious that Zac Taylor could see it on the sideline -- but the officials kept their flags in their pockets. It's like Burrow is not afforded the protection by officials that other QBs have.
It’s time for Mike Brown to loudly and publicly stand up for his players! The facemask was horseshit.

Normally would vote Chase but Burrow gets my vote because his 4QC and GWD are such a rare occurrence.

Jamar.
But what about York tho? He made all his kicks on MNF for a new team AND dating a very camera friendly Cowboy cheerleader. At the very least, he has the envy of countless bros out there.

Trey’s sack was BEASTLY. The timing couldn’t be better - but it was one play.
Jamar was sick all game. Gotta give him the nod.

Chase was immaculate, but someone is overseeing this guy.... made mcPherson disappear and has a hottie gf. Somebody send her some Bengal gear ASAP, bring her to the Ben-gals now! Yes, that is our Kicker YORK! Well done! Stepped up to the plate nicely, without his accuracy, its an L.

Ja'Marr Chase deserves it, hell of a game.
But Joe Burrow is the main reason this crappy team has 5 wins. He takes a beating and just keeps soldiering on week after week. No quit no surrender. And gawd it would be so very easy for him to say screw it and just go through the motions, but he doesn't.
Joe Burrow gets my vote and should get the MVP.

I'll go with Chase Brown since he didn't get any votes. Developing into a real offensive weapon.

Maybe Burrow needs to go to Mahomes' acting class. When Mahomes gets hit late, or a facemask, he acts like someone assaulted him with a tire iron, virtually making the officials throw the flag. Last night Burrow didn't even complain about the facemask that caused a fumble or the very late hit by Parsons. He just dusted himself off and kept playing.

Put some respect on Nick Vigil's name.
I was as shocked as anyone to learn he's still in the NFL.

Just imagine if he ever got any work in the second half...

That's Joe, takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
And it so pisses me off that this F.O. has let the team around him go to hell.

Vigil was the one who blocked it, not the dude that touched it after.

Anyone thinking the league doesn't have their favorites should rewatch that game. More phantom hold calls against the Bengals than I've ever seen in a game. And somehow with Hendrickson and others being clotheslined about every play almost no penalties on the other side. Some of the worst officiating I've seen yet. And Aikman is one of my favorites to listen to because he'll call that stuff out like he did last night.
Aikman was also making fun of the bogus call on Volson for being down field on a screen. It gets worse every week...

And really glad the Bengals got the win! Normally I don't stay up for Monday Night Football, because need to be up at 6 the next day for work, but this was a spectacular and thoroughly enjoyable game and I couldn't stop watching. It also put both Burrow and Chase solidly in the NFL lead for QB and WR passing yards. It was a clinic last night for communication between those two.
It was a fun game to watch! Zac's face on the block punt was priceless! I think he was thinking, "there are dumber players in the league"....

If you watch the replay "Meta" was the one Vigil ran over to block the punt and the guy to recover the ball after the muff..

Add in that during a post game segment, Aikman also said it's a joke that the refs and league are letting Burrow take cheap shots.

I didn't see the postgame, but I'm really glad to hear Aikman called out the refs and league on that.

Voted for Ja'Marr. The guy is great. Nice seeing Pratt looking good again. ADG also seemed to have a good game and really
liked what I saw from DJ Ivey and Ossai on Defense. Congrats to Trey upping his Sack lead.
Chase Brown is a nice talent for our future. He just seems so close to breaking a big run.

It was worth staying up for just to see the look on Parsons' face after he thought they were off the field and on their way to a win, then the blocked punt. He walked straight to the locker room and didn't shake anyone's hand
