PFF Grades vs Titans
#61
So how does Mims have 0 pressures allowed but only has a 74 pass block rating? And granted, I was in Richmond, Va and had to watch the game on a laptop, but when did Andrew Stueber play RT? Guess I'll have to rewatch the game on a big screen and actually see and hear it.

Well, you have to understand how PFF works. They basically rate a player each play on a scale of +2 to -2. Zero is neutral. A score of +/- 1 would indicate a win or loss for that player on the play. And a +/-2 would indicate a large win/loss on the play. Those are rare. Most plays are either a 0 or +/- 1. Frankly, IDK exactly how the rating goes, but they somehow divide the number of points by the number of snaps and then make a statistical curve/adjustment (so negative numbers nor scores over 100 are possible) and put the score on a 0-100 scale.

So, just because Mims isn't allowing a pressure, it  does not mean he is winning the rep. It could be neutral. On the flip side, he could lose the rep but not bad enough for it to be considered a pressure.

My understaning is winning every rep (+1) should result in a score of 100. But I most certainly could be wrong about that.
