Good for him, glad that he found an offense that he's a good fit for.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

PFF has always loved Jonah. Even during the season he was leading the league in sacks allowed.

Pollack was Mike Brown’s choice after Zac whiffed with his…Jim Turner. Pollack strikes me as a motivator not a schemer. Zac needs a run game schemer. It seems the linemen we have been drafting and acquiring in free agency don’t fit the same scheme. Mixon didn’t fit what we were doing. Chase hits the hole faster maybe it suits him better. But drafting Volsen and not moving away from him and some other decisions have handicapped this team. Right now our guard play is awful.
I think everyone can see the IOL struggling. Volson is having his worst season and Cappa who was good looks like he has hit the wall. They don't have a 7th blocker at TE or WR to open up the rush offense. Their IOL are not good at pulling in space or getting to guys at the second level and are even iffy at the point of attack. They don't trust running the ball in 3rd and short situations... etc.
Orlando Brown and Amarius Mims look like a great set of bookend tackles though.

HMMM>>>>I don't know we have one of the top rated offenses in the league,,maybe we are too hypocritical..plus we are missing our starting tackles

Not hypocrisy, just stating simple facts. The IOL is poor, and at least a couple of this season's losses can be directly attributed to not being able to convert short yardage because of the poor IOL. Sure, the Bengals have a decent scoring offense, but when they find a defense that defends the pass well, they're dead in the water.

OL ratings....
I don't think people appreciate enough how much Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and the rest of receiving group including Chase Brown has raise the floor of this offense.

North of the border... where the codfish play!
lol I actually despise cod: it has a flavour and smell that have turned me off since I was a kid, I don't get it. Haddock, which is physically almost exactly the same (flesh/fillet-wise), I LOVE because it doesn't have that distinct cod smell/taste.
I'd like to catch one though! They apparently fight like lead weights.
