Steelers v Ravens - who do we root for?

Which outcome benefits the Bengals the most?

I asked this in the KC thread. I don't see how a W-L for either team benefits us.

Edit: However, I will root for the Rats because I can't never bring myself to root for the stoolers.

The only thing I can think of is of Pittsburgh wins enough games so they can't affect their playoff position... maybe they rest starters the final week vs Bengals

We need Pittsburgh to beat KC next week, so KC has to beat Denver last week of season, to get us in the playoffs if we win out.  KC can’t end up tied with Buffalo or they lose the #1 seed.

That's not enough of an incentive for me to ever cheer for the Steelers. If they HAD to win so we could get in, I would hold my nose. Hoping they win so they'll MAYBE sit their starters so we only have to beat ONE real winning team to make the playoffs? Nah.

Nope. We wanted Pitt to have the division clinched against us. That cannot happen now.

EDIT: scratch that, Pitt win over KC and Balt loss in Houston would clinch the div for Pitt.

I like the outcome. I don't wanna get in because Pit rests their starters against us. I wanna get in because KC doesn't rest their starters against Den.

Now Pit has to go all out next week to beat KC if they want a home game

That is certainly true.

I very much anticipate the bengals missing the playoffs.

The chiefs are healthy at the right time.
I could see them finishing off the 3 championships in a row.

Also think the bills and eagles will give them the most trouble.
Could see either team winning it all.

Bengals just aren’t good enough defensively this year.
