Bengals vs Broncos Game Predictions
#21
I have had the same mindset the past few weeks, never root against our Bengals, but a calm watching them play as I think our playoff chances were toast once we lost to the Steelers.

The Chiefs will not play starters Mahomes, Kelcie, Jones and a few other defenders as well. I see no way the Broncos here are very good defensively lose to the Chiefs in week 18.

So, if we lose out, it will not break my heart drafting in the top 15 each round.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

I don't know if I agree with "Burrow 50% the first 5-6 games". I do recall our offense looking worse than it is right now, we barely see our punter anymore lol. Burrow is hitting elite status if he wasn't there, probably remains there now for the rest of his career.

12 TD - 2 INT, 392 yards (5 TD/1 INT) in the 5th game. 232 (2 TD/0 INT) and 324 (3 TD/0 int) in games 4 and 3. 258 (2 TD/0 int) in the 2nd game.

Those are all winnable games if you're the Chiefs who haven't scored over 30 all year long.

I think half of our fanbase wouldn't agree with "lost our starting RB" when Chase Brown should have been #1 even when Mixon was here. Big Grin

Joey Mixon, 8 carries 18 yards today.

You dont luck out making a superbowl run.I love your posts and I am not going to debate you..This was a crappy year..and..as evidenced by the many back ips and rookies that played...this organization has to do a much better job at scouting and coaching..it will be an interesting offseason..until then..ee have the college and NFL playoffs and we can all enjoy football...by the way i do agree with you.llove brown...and why the heck did it take 2 thirds of a season to realize his potential...

Dont care who we draft..this orginization has a horrid recotrd with evaluating talent..most of the time..its the third round and later players drafted that make or break a team..we need more..and better scouts and mike brown..god bless him..needs to retire

The Chiefs want to sweep the Broncos there is no question about that. We just need to take care of ourselves and beat the Broncos.

Andy reid is not a fool..hes not going to play the majority of his staters and risk injuries in a meaningless game..no matter how we feel here in cincinnati

We've yet to beat a team with a winning record. Probably another turnover festival.

Bengals 35
Broncos 38

It is a horrible feeling living in a world of no hope.

May God bless you and give you hope.

The state of the OL worries me against a Broncos team who’s 2nd in the league in sacks. You have Mims with a broken hand, Orlando coming back after having only starting one game since October, Ford in at LG, and Cappa has obviously been terrible all season. Zac and Pitcher better have a game plan to help protect Joe. With Surtain possibly being the best shutdown CB currently in the league if ever there was a game to lean heavy on Chase Brown this is it.

We still cannot beat a good team.

we havent beat a team with a winning record, so I'd go with the odds.

Broncos 27 - 13 Bengals..   two FGs and a TD..

You mean the healthiest the OL has been in months?

The broncos have beat 1 team with a winning record.

If the bengals take care of the underneath stuff on defense and get up 2 scores, this game could get ugly in a hurry.

I’d also blitz ALL day. Make Bo nix beat you, and I don’t think he can.

Orlando playing =/= healthy. Unless you forgot how he looked in that lone game he came back for against Pittsburgh. Add in the Mims broken hand and I’d hardly call it a healthy group.

At some point, 'the odds' turn in the Bengals favor due to the law of large numbers...or as the layman say 'the law of averages'. They're due a couple wins this year against winning teams.

At this point, my big hope is that Ja'Marr Chase can win the battle against Pat Surtain II. Surtain is one of the premier CBs and some are predicting he will hold Chase to less than 50 receiving yards. I think Chase is in great shape to secure the triple crown, but the one close race is receiving yards versus Justin Jefferson. If Jefferson goes off and Surtain contains Chase, then next week will be a nail-biter against a Steeler's team that would love to deprive Chase of that rare accomplishment. There has been no love lost between the Steelers and Chase.

I really want to see Ja'Marr get that triple crown. He bet on himself and took out his own insurance policy to play.

Not saying he is. Just saying that the Chiefs could still beat the Broncos even with their backups, especially with Andy Reid.

I think the Bengals should use Chase in the slot a lot and line up Yoshi and Gesicki wide. Surtain is a great CB but is he as great forced to cover the best slot WR in the NFL Chase.

I think Bengals should use this game to figure out how to attack Denver in 2025 as we likely will be playing them if we are 3rd in our division and they are 3rd in their division.

I was thinking it is possible too.  I think the Bengals win tomorrow.  Burrow and Chase generate a lot of interest in the NFL world so we may get some of those ghost calls for us instead of against us and the refs may be able to see Burrow's head spin around from a face mask tomorrow.

Broncos - 24
Bengals - 31
