Top 3 O:
Burrow: 90.5
Higgins: 84.6
Cochran 72.8
I can officially shut the hell up about not moving Ford to RT.
O-line grades: Overall, pass block, run block:
OBJ: 67.5, 87.4, 50.5
Ford: 57.2, 76.9, 45.1
Karras: 62.0, 82.5, 51.6
Cappa: 55.7, 58.7, 51.8
Mims: 60.9, 63.7, 56.8
Cochran: 72.8, 69.9, 73.8
Top 3 D:
Pratt: 85.2
Hendrickson: 73.2
C. Johnson: 71.6
Goodish: Newton 66.9, Bell 66.5, Ossai 65.8, Ivey 65.6.
OK-ish: Hilton 63.3, CTB 60.9, Murphy 59.9, Jackson 59.2, ADG 57.9, BJ Hill 55.6.
Poor to bad: Stone 48.9, Wilson 39.1, Battle 38.3, Tufele 35.7, Jenkins 27.2.
FA/ Draft implications:
1) Higgins must be retained. Gesicki, too. Hilton probably. BJ if the price is right. Jenkins is not ready yet.
2) Starting to think I can live with Wilson and Pratt at LB with ADG as depth, and C. Johnson and Ossai as DE depth. Still need a real DE2 opposite Trey. Murphy isn't going anywhere. He and Johnson as depth are assured. Ossai a FA.
3,) But the DT, IOL, and S situations are dire. None of our IOL can run block worth a damn. Karras is an excellent pass blocker. Cappa is $10 million of mediocrity. And Ford is mediocre, but OK as a cheap versatile depth piece. Lee, Ford, Volson, and Cochran isn't terrible depth, though it could use upgrading. Only Ford is a FA. But we need starter upgrades at BOTH guard spots. I am open to drafting S help at either spot. Or putting Anderson/Anthony out there more.

Number 9 again
He sometimes holds the ball too long and takes a sack but that’s also what makes him who he is. You give those up to get the crazy plays from him that he only makes because he extends the play…

Normally it would be Tee, but Burrow was superb against that defense, and first Bengals qb ever to hit 40+ passing tds in a season.

Joe Friggin Burrow M.V.P....M.V.P
I would go Tee under any normal circumstances. But Joe is hands down the reason we won this game and main reason we're still alive.

No wrong choice between Joe & Tee, but I'm going with Mr. Burrow.

The game winning touchdown pass was drawn up during the game by Joe and the receivers with Dan Pitcher in the headphones. Joe proves yet again he is a better playcaller than Zac

Higgins made so many incredible catches yesterday, it has to go to him. He is a NEED and the Bengals better resign him and extend Chase this offseason.

Either that or Zac was busy coaching the team while the Defense was on the field.
But yeah, "Let's have Tee run an out to the corner of the endzone was unique.

During the 1st quarter, I was seriously asking myself did Ja'Mar and Joe go out drinking before the game. They were both off. But they quickly returned to their normal greatness.

Not all together true. Zac mentioned it in his press conference. It was a play that they had designed for Chase earlier in the year. Pitcher and Craigthorpe also Zac quickly discussed the play and decided to try it with Tee because he would be 1 on 1 over there.
Zac also said they had runout of plays because of the length of the game. They improvised some plays and had to go back to previous years for a couple of plays. They discussed this with Joe while the D was on the field. I'm not too sure Joe was drawing up anything.

I about lost my shit watching the game while making family xmas dinner.
We’re kicking on 3rd and3? Really?
The players are bailing zac out. And none greater than Tee in this game, IMHO.

Yes, Cappa needs to go, not worth 10 million.
Ford, DE Sample and Ossai are FA's. Hubbard also needs to go and replaced with pass rushing specialist via draft or FA.
Jenkins had a horrible game against a very good Denver OL. He has a lot of work to do. Jackson is getting better. DE Johnson made some plays as well. Hill in my opinion needs to be signed for a modest contract.
2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.
