Jermaine Burton not going to Pittsburgh
#21
What. The. Actual...
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Whomever I disagreed with, I am sorry and you are probably right.

What a turd.

I bet you were a dane sanzenbacher guy too

In my initial post I hoped Chuck was back for KR duties, I said nothing about his WR skills. Can't remember if I was a Sanzenbacher fan or not, but I do know that back then , I already knew there are 2 facets to the game: Offense, Defense, ST. The only thing Burton has done is ST this year, that's why I mentioned Chuck replacing him in said capacity. But like I said: I get it, You are mad we "wasted" a 4th rd pick 2 years ago

Let's be thankful at least Iosivas has turned into an ok WR3.
At least there's SOMETHING after Chase and Higgins.

Burton huge disappointment, Jones about near worthless on offense after 2 years.
Bengals might be going to the well again for WR even if Higgins is retained.

I really dont think its immaturity on his part..and certainly not a lack of physical skills...but when you hear him talk...there is something amiss..I am thinking ADHD

He needs to go. He seems very unintelligent and a huge distraction. Absolutely terrible pick by this FO. Inexcusable.

All the talent in the world with the potential to change not only his life but his families for years to come and he’s constantly ****** it up.

You can’t teach stupid I guess.

Can we now stop drafting players on the recommendation of ex Bengals?

Willie with Carman and now Housh with this ***** ******.

Expand the scouting department.

About the only ex-Bengal I trust at this point is Jordan Palmer.

Clearly we wasted a third this year too. This is why I scoff at the idea that the Bengals are great at drafting WRs outside of the can't miss types.

I'm not gonna get too worried about it. Certainly can't put much stock in him for next year but based on usage/production we shouldn't have been anyway. I was really liking what I was seeing as far as getting teammates back after errors on the field. Hopefully this is enough to get his head on straight and realize this isn't college and his talent doesn't erase everything.

ADHD would not prevent him from playing, ive taught and coached many with ADHD... it just looks like make $$ is not changing his moral compass from college to the nfl.
